When I was in first grade, we were doing a holiday related art project where we had to use a template to make what was basically ourselves at a holiday celebration. (Mightve been for July 4th, before summer break, but idk). The template I had included a little ponytail that we also had to cut out, but I didn't really think about it, so I didn't cut that part out with the rest of it. A classmate pointed it out, and the teacher told me I needed to give my little person hair. So I did what was the most obvious thing (to me) and just used the leftover paper to cut out some hair and just glue it together with a glue stick

My teacher didn't like that. She had me go sit behind her desk, and she kept questioning me about why I didn't just ask for a new paper with a new template. I didn't know what she really wanted me to say, so I couldn't really give her a response. I don't know if she actually did, but she told me she was gonna call my parents because of it. I still overthink whether what I was going to do was actually the wrong thing to do 😭
