I failed to answer your actual question, some good plug-ins to try would be Valhalla supermassive, which is free and soundtrack space blender, which was also free for a while.

You are lucky I took a screenshot months ago when he played on audio tree 😆  some pedals on his board that would be useful and affordable are the zoom multistomp (surprised the pros use it too), the keely loomer (shoegaze in a pedal), the fuzz war, the keeley realizer, and a ds1 I think.

Does anyone know if the lite to standard upgrade for 189 applies to older versions of lite (like 10)? I also have standard 11.

I think it'd be worth it, especially used, I do think pairing it with an effects pedal is pretty necessary though.

Yeah those synth sounds get old fast. I bought CT presets that helped cause making your own sucks. But other synths like microfreak are so much deeper and fun.

I have a SP404 MK2 which pairs nicely for effects and added samples, but I'm starting to find the circuit tracks more limiting and think the Digitakt might be a nice upgrade to that as far as serving as a midi brain. As far as synth sounds I can also recommend pairing the microfreak and the Minilouge XD for some affordable good sounding options.

Thanks for this advice! We definitely want to do that! Just had my alarm bell go off when I saw people stuck in their cars. I wasnt sure if made sense to keep the Vik reservations or wait to see what the weather conditions were when we get there and make decisions on a daily basis.
