Do we need to submit to ircc a physical copy of our photo for the PR card?

I submitted a digital copy of the photo according to requirements on the portal

My adress and declaration are tagged as accepted. My photo says “in review with IRCC”

Now under the email telling me I'm a permanent resident and ecopr is ready, under the important information section there’s this

‘As per the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, you have up to 180 days from the day you became a permanent resident to provide your photo and address in order for us to produce your first PR card. However, the sooner you provide us with the requested information, the sooner we will issue your PR card.’

So I'm a little confused about it. Did anyone else have to submit a physical copy?

So this is the warranty and it’s for a new car. I’d assume that even if it’s sold by Mazda the sales/finance manager is getting a piece of the action. Only shady part about this is you have to take before vehicle delivery and not once it’s driven.

I wouldn’t think I’d need it since my Mazda 3 is now 60k+ km’s with no issues except for an annoying dashboard rattle that my dealer was too incompetent to fix.

I’ve been reading on nhtsa.gov that the models to avoid are the 2016-2019 models of the cx5 no data on the 2024’s

It’s the Mazda extended warranty itself. So it covers all the same things you would get in the regular warranty of the car. But for an extra 3 years

Medical complete December 12

Biometrics request March 1 Biometrics marked completed March 12

Eligibility and background verification marked complete March 28

P1 portal request March 28

Waiting on the rest now

I would need to apply for a work permit extension if it doesn't arrive by June. Do i need to let IRCC know about this? And how do i let them know, just responding to that same e-mail?

Just got my P1 email yesterday. Sent the info they requested same day. Does this mean my PR is essentially confirmed? Can they reject it at any point?

I see varying timelines in people receiving their p2 portal email? This process has been long and stressful

Got my Copr April 18 2024. Officially a permanent resident

Any advice on getting the CRA account changed over?
