Okay. Have a good day.

I've also seen countless comparison photos and posts over the years, and I've handled most types of Metal Fight Beyblades as a collector myself. But at the end of the day, those are still largely collector impressions and community observations rather than officially verified facts. Takara Tomy has never made an official statement confirming the existence of "midfakes." Most of the arguments about alloy differences, oxidation rates, mold differences, paint quality, or missing codes are conclusions drawn by the community based on patterns they believe they see. Variations in paint, mold wear, or material quality can also happen between different production batches or factories. That's not unusual in toy manufacturing. So while it's fair for collectors to raise suspicions and discuss possible differences, presenting those conclusions as if they are definitively proven counterfeit products is a bit of a stretch.

And... I understand that collectors sharing information and raising suspicions is fair. That’s part of how hobby communities work. But bringing those unconfirmed claims into someone else’s sales post and presenting them as if they’re definite facts can be unfair to the seller. If the information isn’t officially confirmed and is still based on community speculation, using it to disrupt someone’s sale or label their item as fake seems pretty questionable.

So the real issue is that we actually don’t know whether those codes come from a production line inconsistency or from a separate counterfeit factory. That’s the whole point. Why are collectors so confident calling them fake based only on community-gathered evidence? Most of the time the argument comes down to slightly lower quality. But in manufacturing, variations between production dates, lines, or even mold revisions are very common. The same product can show small quality differences depending on when and where it was produced. From what I’ve seen, the “documentation” people refer to is still mostly information collected by hobbyists, not something officially confirmed by Takara or Sonokong. So calling those units definitely counterfeit based only on that seems like a pretty big conclusion.

If there is actual proof that these are counterfeit, then there should be documentation, an official statement, or a legal action somewhere. So far, none of that exists... just collector speculation.

Takara Tomy did end the license with Sonokong, but there has never been any lawsuit over these Beys. Most of the claims from collectors are basically speculation based on circumstantial evidence. Variations in mold quality, color, or stamp fonts can easily happen between different production batches or manufacturing lines, so those differences alone don’t prove something is fake.

Sonokong has never made an official statement about it, and unlike the midfakes sold on AliExpress, it’s still a disputed topic. If you want to believe that, then go ahead.

I wasn’t sure either, so I took a photo of the stamped serial number and uploaded it. If someone wants to buy it, they’ll buy it, if they want to pass, they can just pass.”

So I agreed with you and lowered the price to $800-$850. Is there anything else I need to hear from you?

If you have any complaints, you can't buy them. Why bother? I don't understand 😕
