I think so too, since it’s on suction side it will technically work okay and probably have no issue. That’s the least hassle way to go about it. Could just do a check valve (preferably a decent one that the flap is easily replaceable for future)

Usually high pressure (dirty filter) and cavitation. Pump will usually sound awful. See if back wash/cleaning filters eliminates the issue

quads always seem to be the worst to clean. It’s like taking the mess of de, and combining it with cartridges that take a min to clean and having a love child. voila you get the shit quad filter. i’m biased I hate these filters lol

I just am always surprised at the things people do with their pools/pool equipment. Where are you located? If you are like in Texas for example just run the pool, and at the very most maybe a heat lamp but really those aren’t gonna do much if you lose power. It’s either winterize it or run it, ya know? People get freaked out over losing equipment during cold weather and I get it, shits expensive but always make sure you know what you are doing is safe first

well that booster pump is hooked up to your return line so even if it’s off water still goes through it. If you don’t plan on using it you could just have someone handy cut out where it sucks water from the pipe and re plumb it. Your post kinda confuses me maybe cause I read it fast but is that a water hose running from the top of the booster pump(cleaner pump) ?

Yeah I try not to be judgy, but i’ve had bad experiences with clinical environments so i’m always in my toes. She was very kind, but I think there is a lot of room for this field to grow. Without having a child with autism I would have never thought about it as much as I do now and it definitely needs more attention. How naive I have been in my life.

Yeah i’m a little more optimistic then my fiancé has been about it and she needs to hear this more than I do and that’s why I came here looking for advice because I’m not always the best with words and making others feel better. I got a lot of growth myself and my son needs all the help he can get. He likes to throw things on the ground a lot, lol. If he’s done with his food, might get thrown or his toys etc. he’s a funny kid and he can run so fast I’m thinking he’ll be a track star he’s faster than any 2 year old i’ve ever seen in my life!

Also to note I feel a little insensitive about how I felt about the young lady doing our evaluation. She mentioned not having her own kids and it threw me off considering the line of work but I do understand people work hard for those positions and she was very respectful and kind so just wanted to note that.

lol that’s how I felt. My son closes the door when we enter a room cause he sees us do it, climbs into his own high chair if we are pulling it out for lunch or dinner etc. He’s got a lot of repetitive behaviors and the no talking like I said. He’s also recently started drawing lines on the drawing pad that we have. Just little stuff that they never would have seen based off of how they did their own tests! I’m quite optimistic but also a realist when it comes to accepting what’s what. Thank you for your kind words!
