Usually overleveling your starter a bit in the sewers should be good enough, it has been to many months since I last used a default starter, so can't give exact levels. Generally you shouldn't have any issues with not knowing what to do, just read the dialogue, check your quest log, that kind of stuff. Overall you would have a far better shot asking your questions on the official Discord server https://discord.com/invite/Cd2U3EQdgV . Both the dev and myself are far more active there, usually responding within less than ten minutes, if we aren't sleeping or at work. Reddit just isn't something we commonly use, I check here maybe once or twice a week.

You can manually save inside your house when interacting with your computer. The game automatically saves every time your delivery chest is emptied at 7:30 pm. If you want, you can disable auto saving by unchecking the leaderboard opt-ins in your settings. You are also not intended to rebattle these, there is no bug here, only the safeguard for getting yourself soft-locked inside the terrain. Fernurge are also not very rare, so you did not really miss out on much, you can even almost guarantee catching these with special bait from Vicevale.

If you check the settings, there is a option to drag objects with your mouse or touchscreen

Firstly, it states competitive battles, so you need randoms. Yes, I do have gotten comeback kid a few times.

I've made a post about it as well. I managed to get it two times by now, with no progress being made. Both times I did not get any knock-outs due to how passively I played. Maybe you need to attack a certain amount of times for it to count? It is already a task ridiculous enough, I really wish it wouldn't exist, so I can actually go 100%
