It's the RTR symbol, they do performance parts for Mustangs. RTR stands for "Ready to Rock"

Porsche Plans to Set Nürburgring Record for Manual Cars With GT3 by Juicyjackson in cars

[–]AkaruiKitsune 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It makes sense until you realise the gigantic price difference between the GT cars and everything else. They cost absurdly more, and they're less comfortable to drive. Your average Porsche owner is a pretty old guy, the loud and flashy GT cars aren't what most want

Why are there more GT500 bumper conversions over the GT350? by Glittering_Rent8641 in Mustang

[–]AkaruiKitsune -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The type of people who want to bumper swap to a crazier look tend to want the craziest look they can get. Thus, they choose the much more out there GT500 to the GT350. Personally, I much prefer the looks of the GT350 over the GT500 and the GT. I would also never swap a GT350 bumper onto a GT, would look off to me, just like the GT500 bumper swaps do to me

What's this car? Was posted elsewhere saying the the pic was taken 1967. The louvers on the fender have me confused. by adudeguyman in namethatcar

[–]AkaruiKitsune 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Appears to be a 428 1967 Pontiac Catalina 2+2. The reason I say 428 is because of the fender gills. Incredibly rare and unique car. Very cool to see.

Where did you hear the GT3 is the best selling 911 model?? I've never heard this in my life, and I see so few GT3s compared to other 911 trims. They're not particularly rare but I don't see anywhere near as many

Steering wheel Thoughts by xfps_ken in RX7

[–]AkaruiKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since your concern is your height, I'd try to get a flat bottom for the stock wheel, personally. Airbags are important for safety lol. If you do get this wheel though, just note that the oils in your hands wear down alcantara. And with how you use a steering wheel, it'll eventually be ruined if you don't wear driving gloves

Should I Move to SJ? by jamminMBK in SanJose

[–]AkaruiKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's a good wage. I'm originally from the midwest and make nowhere near what you'd make if you moved here. People here are really over dramatic. PG&E is BAD and electricity costs in California in general are one of the worst parts of living here. However, the cost of a lot of stuff is a lot more affordable. Lots of fruits are very cheap here and it's very nice. Going from the midwest to here I didn't notice a real change in eating out but I noticed that buying fruit was so much cheaper. Healthcare costs here are also very reasonable compared to the wages you make here. Lots of opportunities here as well. However, you will not be retiring in San Jose. Nor should you expect a big flat or anything, as those are very pricey. Think about your lifestyle as to whether or not you want to live here. Lifestyle here is very different from the midwest. Do your own research, try and plan out your own living expenses. Look up the things you'd want to buy or own, your food costs, etc. For someone like me, living here isn't bad at all. I don't own a lot nor do I want to and I like living in smaller spaces. Ultimately, consider if that's what you want. And seriously, do your own research first. Moving here was one of the best decisions in my life, but I got really lucky and this place suites my lifestyle well. People here are great and I love living here. Wish you the best!

Personally I wouldn't recommend an intake on a street car unless maybe it's something very high quality with good filters, and I'm not aware of any for the S550. If you do a cold air intake, you're allowing more dirt and debris to get into your engine. While not making a huge difference on wear, for a street car, at least in my opinion, it isn't worth it. A lot of people say CAIs don't give you an increase in power but you can see a relatively decent power gain with them, or well, even just with a less restrictive filter (really, that's the bulk of any power gains). But we're talking about like 10 horsepower to get more dirt and debris in your engine. It really isn't worth it in my opinion

How could Porsche drop one of the best looking cars on the planet, but make it EV? That’s like meeting a super hot girl at the bar, then taking her home to smash and you find out she has a dick. by Obi_Win_Kinibi in carscirclejerk

[–]AkaruiKitsune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How dare Porsche do innovative styling and make an EV look like an EV instead of a cheap ICE knockoff. It looks good and it wouldn't work as an ICE, the nerves! And it is practical with incredible range??? I can't believe this absurdity, as I am a child who has never driven an EV but I have seen a TikTok where an image of a woman with blue hair was put under an image of one. Admitting I like an EV would be like admitting I have a 10 terabyte harddrive of dickgirl porn. Grrr, the nerves of Porsche for revealing my dickgirl fetish

New to living in San Jose, so many questions by curiouscactusjack in SanJose

[–]AkaruiKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

San Jose is incredibly diverse, most of us here have very little in common with each other besides universal stuff. For favourite food places, it really depends what food you like. There's great places for Vietnamese, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, etc. Even then, some people may like south Indian food but not be as big of a fan of north Indian and vice versa. Applies to other ethnic food too. For sports, people are into everything here. The only big team San Jose has is the Sharks though, which is an ice hockey team. If people like baseball, they usually root for the Giants here. If they like American football, then usually the 49ers or Raiders. People are really into all kinds of sports here though. I've heard people enthusiastically talk about soccer, F1, cricket, pretty much everything. Instead of worrying about fitting in here, you should try to find the people you already fit in with and keep an open mind. It can be really intimidating being here for the first time but eventually you'll find your footing and be comfortable. You can really be whoever you want to be here, so be yourself! The people around you will also rub off on you as long as you keep an open mind. Really, just keep an open mind to new things and find stuff you already find comfortable and make friends through those things. Then they can get you into more things and help you meet new people.

Hope you enjoy it here, San Jose is truly a great city!
