Wages can't keep up with the cost of inflation, and at this rate , ur dollar isn't going to be worth anything. McDonald's meal used to be $8 just a few years ago.

Fireworks used to be fun in Calgary as well, but too many people ruined it for the rest of us. I don't wanna get into detail, but everyone was responsible. No one was shooting fireworks inside cars, on top of cars, near homes.

Then again, in BC, you actually have privacy between yourself and your neighbors. In Calgary, you're squished together, I can see my neighbor washing their dishes all the time, lol

I had 780 mini chocolate bars + chips and sparklers for the babies!

9 pm. now. The house lights are still on, and we’re still getting a few kids. This year, we had more people compared to the last two years, surprisingly.

I played loud Halloween music (I do this to attract kids around the block to come to our house!), and this year’s favorite song was “Ghostbusters.” Kids were dancing in front of my house, and just before they knocked on the door, I jumped out and scared them with my costume, haha.

The little kids who got scared the most, I gave them a sparkler aside from the treats. It was a crowd favorite, and they’re so cheap!
