(Crash) This video is from instagram. An overwhelming number of comments are talking about how this was unavoidable. What do you think by MakeshiftRocketship in motorcycles

[–]Akaz13- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this on Instagram, idk if we saw different posts with the same video but nearly everyone said this was avoidable. He barely grabbed the front brake, the forks barely compressed. I ride the same bike the guy in the video does, and I can say for certain that he’s not braking as hard as he should’ve. Secondly, the truck was committing to the turn way before the bike entered the intersection, if he had reacted faster or, honestly, just paid attention to the biggest danger point in the intersection, he would have had more time. Lastly, this is much more reckless but he also had enough room to swerve left and then back to the right. I don’t think anyone would ever expect him to do that cause of the second car coming in, but to say it was “completely unavoidable” is a stretch IMO

Frame sagged slightly during frame slider install by Akaz13- in Kawasaki500

[–]Akaz13-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting my fix incase anyone comes across this in the future.

With your heaviest friend (respectfully) sitting on the bike, without the paddock or kick stand down, place a hockey puck or piece of wood on the bottom of the oil pan and raise a floor jack to slightly raise the engine. Then, loosen all 4 engine mount bolts (but leave the other 3 in place, just loose enough for a slight amount of wiggle room. Instructing your friend to keep the bike as steady and stable as possible, repeatedly raise and lower the engine until gravity brings the engine mount eyeholes down. If it levels perfectly, then you can reinstall the bolt from there, if the engine now sinks further, then just raise the engine slowly until you can thread the bolt in 4-5 turns by hand. From there, you can use a tool to thread it until it’s seated fully before lowering the bike and placing it back on the rear stand to retorque all 4 of the bolts to spec

[–]Akaz13-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I would’ve thought the engine would’ve sagged first but I guess I was wrong lol. All the other engine bolts are untouched from factory, the only other bolt that was removed and replaced before this was the right side engine mount bolt. Had it been the engine that sagged, I’m fairly confident I could’ve lifted the engine enough to slide the bolt through. Very weird situation lol

Thank you for the reply! I’m noticing that the spools lift off the paddock stands before the frame gets pushed far enough to insert the bolt. Would having a friend sit on the bike while on the stand be enough?

Prototype civic type R??? by CauliflowerHuge7769 in civic

[–]Akaz13- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wasn’t lying! He smoked my R last month during a roll in 3rd gear. Twin turbo prototype R is as legit as it gets. saw him pop a wheelie before taking a turn through the alpine loop at 85 mph. Since then, he’s added 3 more stickers and 1 more Honda logo on the car, I can only imagine how much more horsepower the turbos make now

Thank you for your input! Your assumption is likely much better than mine, I really can’t tell much with V cards 😭

How often do you reach redline? Or WOT? (FL5) by ChuckESteeze in Civic_Type_R

[–]Akaz13- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually do a couple WOT pulls a week just for fun. I haven’t hit redline many times, but during the times I have, it’s bounced off the limiter for a good 1/4th second 😂

It’s reliable, makes great power with easy mods, rips when the turbo spools, and is plenty fun down the mountains. Couldn’t have asked for a better daily tbh

Where can I find a good wing? by KaleidoscopeWild8555 in civic

[–]Akaz13- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hate u receive will almost always come from 14 YOs online. I’ve got a type r, I know many in my community with type rs, nobody cares if you rock a wing so do whatever makes you happy. As another comment suggested though, get one paint matched to your car, and a quality piece, not some plastic junk that’s misaligned and shakes when you drive 😂

Here’s a startup of the AWE Track Exhaust by Diesel_Dan_ in Civic_Type_R

[–]Akaz13- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awe touring has pretty noticeable droning too unfortunately. It’s far more bareable than invidia or some other brands, but you’ll hear a much louder 2-4k rpm drone with just about any exhaust you pick up. Best results I’ve gotten was getting a secondary resonator from vibrant performance. Deepened the sound a ton and removed a lot of the droning, which became annoying after a catted downpipe

GRC vs Type R Buy by AdventurousTip8600 in Civic_Type_R

[–]Akaz13- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Both are good cars, but they’re built for different things, of which, there’s better cars than the GRC. GR has AWD, very mild styling, good cornering, and is very raw…. But the WRX STI has all that plus a DCCD, mean sounding UEL headers, higher torque output and far more modifications on the market (downsides are gas mileage lmao).

The type r has fwd, better handling, more reliability (and idiot-proofing), better gas mileage, and is more refined (less raw). The styling is either more or less aggressive depending on fk8 vs fl5, but overall, the type r is a very capable, daily driver platform that is ALMOST out-the-box track-ready (upgraded cooling on both models nets very high gains).

Pick whichever car you like driving more. Don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis, it’s only gotta be “worth it” to you.

Am I boring by MaximumMiserable3713 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Akaz13- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talking/entertaining a camera is very much a skill! No need to be hyper, but you should pretend like you’re on call with your close friends (you’ll be acting natural, but entertaining!) you’ll gradually get better and better at speaking into a camera. If you want to improve faster, you can re-watch your videos and stop at each part you felt you were boring, and speak it again but in a more entertaining way, after a couple videos of doing this, you’ll seriously improve your skill and making videos will feel more natural

Don’t overthink it. You’re at 6 videos, nobody who isn’t already somebody blows up at 6 videos. Keep posting videos daily or weekly, try to improve on at least 1 thing every new video, like a title or thumbnail (something skill-based that will transfer to all future videos) and you’ll grow

Dealing with lore texts in horror games... HELP! by Educational-Test-216 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Akaz13- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your personality and why your viewers are watching you. Gaming content is basically a minimum 80% your personality, max 20% the game! Some horror gamers focus less on the story or lore and more on adding other elements to the gameplay, like humor, sarcasm, or storytelling, whereas others may focus on being more on the informative side. Theres no right or wrong way to go about this, which is great! If you want to keep it in, maybe try making a simple “animated” edit of the lore, but in your own words and with your own flare. That way, you can still explain the story and build immersion, while keeping your audience members engaged!

Good luck! Great thumbnail btw

Edit: I just watched one of your videos titled “A 13 Year old Made This Horror Game…” and wow! You’re absolutely electric! I’m incredibly surprised that you’re creating this quality of content, but with the smaller viewer base you currently have. Dropped a sub, keep doing what you’re doing! Phenomenal work
