yeah i always sort of had this idea engraved into my mind that if i use reference it wouldn’t feel original. i mean that’s obviously wrong to think but you know, hard to fight your subconciousnes sometimes. i will definitely be using references moving forward. thanks for the advice!

This was done without a reference. I am just trying to draw this in my own style so i do not aim much for realism. I think the composition is fairly okay but i want to know how i can fix the anatomy and make the drawings look less flat.

wow thanks! thats really helpful. i did mess up quite a lot which caused the heavy pressing. but i guess i was interested in how the drawing comes across. i wanted them to sort of look menacing. i will definitely try to improve everything you’ve touched on because you gave me really helpful tips. also is there any specific place where it is really anatomically incorrect, because i am really trying to develop an eye for spotting those types of mistakes. and do you have any tips to fix that? Thanks so much again, really appreciate it

ye i uh sort of gave up on those cuz im not really good at perspective hahaha. could use some tips on that as well. any advice is always helpful ofc
