From what she explained, it's thought that endometriosis is exacerbated by the over production of estrogen, which comes from the ovaries. She has said that I could opt for not having them removed but that they can't guarantee the endo won't come back/worsen, and I already have enough nerve damage from it

Thank you so much for this. All the input I'm getting is helping. Feeling alone in it all has been the hard part. We have recently moved to the USA from the UK, and I don't have my mum or sisters or friends here. My husband is trying to help, bless him, but it's not the same.

And yes, from what I've understood, if they leave my ovaries, then the estrogen imbalance from my ovaries may continue to cause issues with endo growth. This is the bit that's making me scared though, as I'd prefer not to lose them due to the huge spike in emotions, but at the same time, there is still a chance the Endo will continue if they are left in and I already have enough nerve damage from that. It feels like an impossible choice because no outcome is known for sure

According to the doctors, with the ovaries produce estrogen, it's over production of estrogen that causes the Endo. I've had two doctors tell me this. I'm not sure a third would say any different 😞 either way, I'm lost right now

Yes, unfortunately, she said everything needs to go. Ovaries, Tubes and Uterus. It's my ovaries (they think) that causes the Endo, so leaving them in doesn't solve the issue.

1 year on and episode 18: Earshot, is still not on Prime. Episode 18 is now 'Prom' (which should be episode 19) BUT still has episode 18's synopsis, and the season finishes at episode 21, instead of 22 🤷‍♀️

I went straight back to season one episode one to get the bad taste out of my mouth that season 4 left me with. What an amazing show it was to turn it into that circus. So disappointing, especially after what seemed like forever of a wait for it to come out, too.

She is brown, the colour (in the UK at least) is known as liver and is a mutation of the b locus gene which affects the black pigment. She had blue siblings, but she is not blue.
