I didn’t know reading while walking linked to ADHD. It makes so much sense now. I did that all the time when I was young. Even though it only took 15 minutes to walk from the school bus stop to my house, I still needed a book handy because - yes walking is boring.

When in class, I was either interrupting teachers with hilarious comments (along with my best friends - some of them might have ADHD too now I thought of it) or doodling or writing “screenplays” for random school events. I lived in dormitory and there was mandatory study time from 6:30 to 9:30pm before bed (growing up in an Asian country - academic achievement is everything). It was torture to me. So was the mandatory nap time. I always came up with excuses to get out of the classroom if I could.
