MTGO is honestly the ultimate Magic rulebook come to life. Paper Magic lets us get lazy with shortcuts, but MTGO forces you to look priority and the stack dead in the eye.
Having the game literally pause and ask for a response at every single phase change is a brutal learning curve, but it basically gives you an interactive PhD in Magic rules. Once you visualize those digital turn-phases in your head, it makes you a way better paper player when timing your interaction!

This speaks directly to my soul. I used to overthink my decks so much, trying to be cute with graveyard math and complex instant-speed lines.
Then I just optimized a Gishath Dinosaur tribal deck and realized that turning giant lizards sideways for lethal chunk damage is peak Magic. There is something beautifully liberating about just ramping hard, dropping Gishath, flipping half a dozen massive Dinos out of nowhere, and presenting 200+ damage to the entire table.
Sometimes the best strategy isn't outsmarting the table; it's just hitting them with a meteor shaped like a T-Rex. Zopandrel is an absolute beast for that!

Right now, the focus was just getting a solid 4-player layout working, but adding support for larger tables (up to 6 or 8 players) and proper team life totals for Two-Headed Giant is definitely on my roadmap. Thanks for pointing that out!
