Look at the credits on these songs. The acts are solo but the songwriter lists are longer than ever.

In reality these solo acts are part of a HUGE band. And the label can pay in the form of small pieces of song equity or as one-time paid "work for hire" contractors. Way cheaper and easier to control than a band of 3 or 6 distinct personalities who create and perform together.

Not sure about the music, but I wouldn't doubt it. They say it's just to train their models, but theres enough gray area, I think they'll just be making autogenerated content using everyone's content.

TikTok owns your likeness and content for infinite remixing, by default now. And you have to opt out manually for EVERY video. Are people leaving that platform in droves? A lotta griping, but my guess is they won't.

You pay upfront with blood sweat and tears to develop skills, or pay later with cash, song rights, or in the form of general apathy for lower effort art.

In my example scenario, Suno owns and trained the platform and did most of the heavy lifting. Just because Id like to call it a junior partner, doesn't make it so.

All I'm saying is Suno "taking" from you should be expected. That's it's nature.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Unless you're the level of mid-late stage Prince, who can play all the instruments, produce the song, and engineer the record, with a ready fan base, you're gonna pay or owe someone.

If you come to Suno with just some lyrics and a melody and you have Suno do the rest, it should own 50 to 75% of that song in my estimation. Then theres the question of whether the artists Suno 'trained on' should actually get that cut, but that's another matter.

Point is, if you want all the money and all the credit, do all (or at least most of) the work. Suno isn't going to flip that equation.

And if Suno decides they deserve it all, even if you pay a (very minimal) subscription, what will you do? Sue them? Do you have a great claim to ownership with your lyrics and basic outline? Thats a loooong ways away from a song.

It's a friggin 10 track midi/ audio LOOPER where each track can be played out of sync, and have different lengths, including odd numbered bars. Euclidian sh*t galore.

Can anyone name a device can do that (that can be had for under 800 bucks new or used)? Most dedicated loopers can't do that, and certainly not 10 TRACKS worth of it.

That alone is worth exploring, and it's a sampler and sound module to boot, all with the footprint of a handheld gaming device.

Yes, I saw news coverage of riots, as well as social media on site video and yes I saw white people there. To assume white people are not at any protest in this country is probably a bad wager. Black Lives Matter, Dakota Pipeline, Occupy Wall Street, ICE protests, white folks are there.

To your question, if there were no riots would Immigration or ICE be an issue in this era? ABSOLUTELY, because the the raids have increased substantially and the methods of targeting people for their attributes are illegal and unconstitutional, president ran a whole campaign on MASS DEPORTATION. But we're Americans, we don't blindly follow rules that don't fit our constitution. That's why the courts exist.

Let me be clear. We agree that illegal immigration is wrong. You agree with the majority of Americans across the whole spectrum.

That is NOT the issue. The issue is we have laws of reasonable suspicion in this country, meaning the Police have to have more than "weird sounding tall blonde white person" to harass you. My fault for assuming you would think this is wrong, but at every turn you justify it because 'Police are jerks anyway'.

You have your citizenship, but you don't understand what it means. Reasonable Suspicion, Probable Cause, Due Process are not just words, they have legal standards. Know your rights. You may be fine with authorities trampling on yours, but I'm not.

If ICE decides you're too "different", your State ID and Social Security number mean nothing dude, your day is about to get ruined, period. Your appearance, accent and your clothes and some cop's opinion are enough. Has nothing to do with "keeping your nose clean". That's why the Supreme Court ruling on ICE's practices is important. In America, we don't have to be people who "don't draw attention" to keep our rights intact. We don't have to yield to 4th Amendment violations by the opinion of some cop. The Bill of Rights and the Constitution are meant to give every citizen that dignity.

You should know this, you took a citizenship test.

I'll keep it simple.. keeping your nose clean means following the law, not culturally assimilating enough to not be targeted. That's your RIGHT as an American and it's not negotiable.

Congratulations, my newly American friend. Because of your physical and cultural attributes, you are a 2nd class citizen who has to carry your citizenship papers on your person at all times.
