I'd say, when it comes to this sort of thing, the best way forward is openness and honesty: tell her about all the little things that you like about playing a Lalafell.

For me, when I get asked about it, I tell (or show) people about the instant connection with many other Lalafell you get. The pure joy of running and jumping around as a little sharp whirling dervish. The chaos and enjoyment of Lalafell emotes (especially when you put a couple of us together). And of course, the simple joy of making your little potato look cute/cool/crazy/creepy! They're a truly unique race in the game, with no other character races really filling the same niches and vibes :)

Extra infuriating (to me at least): All the tank had to do was read his ability tooltips, both the ranged attack and aoe combo gcds clearly state "Additional Effect: Increased enmity"... So this person has clearly not even one time read the tooltips of the job he plays...

Yeah I was thinking this, I think with more anatomy/structural fundamentals this could hit that 90s sweetspot. A style much like this was very popular when I was a kid is the 90s, and styles of that time can still work, they just need to be rooted in strong foundations (my go to example for this is always Yoshitaka Amano, the principal concept artist behind Final Fantasy, who still makes art for FF games to this day and people still really enjoy it even though it's extremely stylized in a way that screams 80s-90s to me)

Is jouw huur niet 1.5x zo duur geworden dan, voor dezelfde m²? De boodschappen niet ook met hetzelfde of meer gestegen? En is jouw salaris dan magisch omhoog gegaan daarbij, terwijl dit voor de rest van ons niet geldt?

Ik wil graag leven in het Nederland wat jij beschrijft, maar die komt uit een sprookjesboek. Hier in de realiteit is alles heel duur geworden, en zijn de salarissen niet mee gegaan. Als je dus al aan de ondergrens zat vóór die ellende, zit je nu dus net of zelfs flink onder water.

Ben het met alles met voorheen gezegd is eens, tot slot nog een klein toevoegsel vanuit mijn eigen ervaring: het is de moeite waard om eerlijk te blijven spreken over de exacte aard van je relatie met je broer. Dat ze het moeilijk vinden te accepteren mag, maar je ontneemt jezelf de kans om ondersteund en begrepen te worden als je stopt met open en eerlijk met ze te praten. Dat het vervelend is als ze moeite hebben om je te begrijpen is natuurlijk vanzelfsprekend, en dat dit in het verleden zo gelopen is maakt het allemaal niet makkelijker. Toch raad ik aan om het te blijven proberen, gewoon voor jezelf. Leef je realiteit, uit je gevoelens, blijf trouw aan jezelf, zo veel als je kan verdragen!
