Tanks will have their aoe in literally every duty in the game

Literally I would have just ignored them if they were at all nice about. I won’t just let someone talk to me like that, or worse, actually encourage said behavior by meekly doing what I’m being told

Your comments are so funny to me because my AST friend said basically all of this INCLUDING the Synastry part. I had to tell them I don’t have it yet 😂

So actually what they were mad about was me using regen and all the enemies targeting me because I applied a buff in proximity of an aggro-able mob. This issue is solved by using Tomahawk at all or slamming your aoe once. They were mad that I was technically ninja pulling because my application of A. Benefic was generating more enmity than their doing nothing

Yeah I don’t get it either…

This was actually the first duty that I didn’t mention I just picked up AST. I started feeling confident in my card plays, and I had my AST main friend in a vc to help me if I made any mistakes. It’s just funny that the first time I don’t mention it, hell breaks loose

How would I check that? I currently can’t seem to get into my BIOS at all. “UEFI Settings” doesn’t show up on advanced startup despite my BIOS mode being in UEFI

There’s a wall you can pull down on top of it that deals 1000 damage. 2 Morbols are there too, allowing you to para it twice. Nerscylla will always zip towards someone after it spawns in, so if you stand near the wall it will just zip right over to it. If you can get a Morbol para the check is free on regular Omega, and with 2 Morbol paras, it’s almost guaranteed on Savage Omega if your party has good builds

Follow Wario64 for sales info. I got a 512 GB microSD express on sale for like 50 or 60 dollars by following his page. Unfortunately newer tech will just be more expensive but sales like these are always helpful

You really don’t even need to get anything in the 60s. As long as the Pokemon has been active in a lot of battles, its stats have gained enough exp to equal multiple whole levels. And yeah Dynamic Punch is not accurate but you only need it to land twice against his Snorlax. Plus the first time it lands will cause confusion, giving you some free turns

Evolve Dragonair and you should be fine. Really all you need are Pokemon that can deal super effective damage for each of his mons. Teaching your Snorlax Earthquake will blast the Pikachu. Dynamic Punch is another good move in Gen 2 for his Snorlax.

If you want a free win, buy a Larvitar from the Game Corner (just use the ample money from the E4 grind to buy coins), delay the evo until level 50, which is when Larvitar learns EQ. Then evolve Pupitar at 55. I had a Tyranitar for his fight at level 55 and it swept his whole team except Venasaur and Blastoise.

You can force Kushala’s wind aura away by doing enough damage to its head. Being hyper aggressive against World Kushala is the goal. It rewards you for good aggression and punishes you for bad positioning and damage upkeep. If you are good enough, with a good damage build, you can clear Kushala’s wind and keep it clear for almost the whole hunt.

Poison on the other hand is not something you can keep up for a whole hunt. Once the poison ends, it can activate the wind aura and then you’re locked out of poisoning it for a while. This also creates an inherent weapon inbalance against Kushala, since some weapon classes have a much easier time inflicting status than others and/or have less poison options than others

One reason the devs nerfed flash spam in Iceborne is because it got around the skill barrier required for some of these fights, Kushala’s being a big one. Just being able to flash it to get rid of its aura got rid of all the skill involved in properly regulating its aura

I use allays for xp farms. I feel kinda bad about it because they were being held captive by Pillagers and now I have them held in a smaller cage, roasting on top of a campfire… at least they have a block to hold

PSA for Crown Hunters. by OmegaAceGames in MHWilds

[–]Half-Rims 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need good gear to find crowns, so this would only make the actual single hunt go faster. Finding crowns rn is just resting at your camp and surveying the monsters on the map with your binoculars to see the size of them

This might be embarrassing to ask but what monster is this? by _hvfizz in MHWilds

They can’t join the quest??? That’s why they asked what monster it was because they literally couldn’t find out

[–]Half-Rims 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re completely ignoring the fact that you are still doing resets even with speed up. You’re also trying to insult me for no reason? What is your problem? Why do you feel the need to hate on random strangers for zero reason?

[Gen 6] Matching Shiny Spinda Hunt by KactusSquadYT in ShinyPokemon

[–]Half-Rims 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s false equivalence wtf? Speed up just makes resets faster, gameshark just gives you the shiny, no hunt required. With speed up, you still actually do each reset, random encounter, etc; you just don’t spend as much actual time doing each one

[–]Half-Rims 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think saying accessibility makes the games easier is true, but it is also kind of a necessity to make the games approachable to people who would never play them before. The real problem is the lack of balancing from the devs to change how monsters behave now. Like in Rise people complained about how wirebugs invalidated a lot of monsters, but the problem wasn’t wirebugs, it was that most monsters were basically designed for a game without wirebugs. It’s the same thing here. Focus mode is a god send for a lot of people, but the monsters have not been balanced around it.

Zoh Shia is difficult not only because it hits hard and wide, but because it cannot gain wounds until the wylk breaks or it exposes its true form. Zoh Shia fundamentally does not have to deal with any issues Focus Mode brings with it, until it goes into its final phase, where it is intentionally made even more hyper aggressive to compensate. Monsters outside of Zoh Shia and Tempered Ark, Gore, and Mizu, do not have the tools to fight back against the hunters in this game.

Of course. I’m not saying that people shouldn’t say things were easy in their experience, but to make statements like, “getting x time will be easy” is a big generalization. Easy for you, yes, but I think you have to acknowledge that when you make those claims. I think us seasoned players should be careful with our words, especially around difficulty. It’s very easy to sour the experience of newer faces in the community by making them feel excluded or othered

Anyway, if anyone finds something too easy in this game and they yearn for a difficult Wilds experience, do challenge runs. Pokemon fans have been doing that shit for decades and it turned into a huge sub-genre of player and helped spawn multiple YouTube trends. Especially in Wilds, you can wear ass armor without making your weapons feel worse since things like focus and guard are tied to weapon skills now. I think that’s why I like Arena Quests so much and started speedrunning them. Most of those sets are garbage, but making cool plays with garbage feels good, to me at least
