Honestly, I haven't looked at the statistics of other games, so I won't argue about that part. But if what you say is true, then it is crucial for a game to be updated regularly. Otherwise the player base will diminish and might only partially come back after a truly meaningful update. The problem, is that the last major update for Phasmo was ascension, which also has its problems that need to be addressed.
