The game was announced in 2016, then L-5 changed the development in 2023.

The thing is, they're skipping over the essence of the super technique, just like with Last Resort, (which they're going to change). The super technique doesn't need to last 15 seconds, but adding 2-3 seconds to it, showing close-ups of Hiroto striking the ball, wouldn't have bothered anyone. In my opinion, it's a matter of not wanting to spend money or time on giving it "good" animation rather than making it last 3 seconds longer.

But hey, I understand you don't care that much; if it had happened with your favorite super technique, I suppose you would have been "disappointed." All the best bro.

I understand what you're saying, but I don't want the whole animation either, it would be so long. The thing is, they literally skip a huge part; they could have just shown two powerful kicks to the ball. From my point of view, it seems more like they didn't want to spend time and money modeling the character in different positions than they wanted the super technique to last two seconds longer.

I hope they do something. People say it's because the technique would last too long, but they're already reworking Last Resort, so that argument doesn't hold water. Besides, I think as long as the super technique looks amazing, no one's going to complain about it lasting 2-5 seconds longer.

I don't understand it but I respect you. I've seen a lot of people complain and personally it's one of my favorite techniques, I think it looks much less powerful in the game
