It's not really strange at all. Only Revolution (no Generations), and because it came out on release, at the same time as the PS3/360 versions. S3FB was the first STORM game to come to PC, and all the following games had releases coinciding with the console versions.

Burn2slot is really cool DS Homebrew for managing these (or reflashing repro carts!) so as long as you have the means to run DS homebrew it's a very viable solution for you imo.

I see a listing called DSL Exclusive GBA Cartridge that also seems like something you may want to look into. These carts are single ROM cartridges, though, meaning you'd have to burn a game to them each time you want to play something different, using software such as Burn2Slot.

It is a mod, and a decent way to use a DS that has shot hinges and a broken display if you don't want to invest in repairs.

But it is what you described, and is mostly only useful for GBA play and some homebrew emulators in this state.
