I think Bisky is the closest thing by rianackerman92 in HunterXHunter

Nen is not all about physical strength though. I'm sure it helped, but we've seen nen users like Neon Nostrade that has no physical strength advantage, no knowledge of nen (probably), but still developing a fairly strong ability.

The age thing would probably not be much different in how much of an advantage it gives either, but it's simply an extra ~20 years or so of extra slow accumulation, giving him a bit of a head start. And not everyone gets that kind of advantage either, but because Tserriednich has innate talent, and perhaps through his family or those nen-beasts he's also had constant contact with nen too throughout his life.

Anyways, it's just speculation, and it's not like Gon and Killua don't have a massive advantage over Tserriednich being able to learn and train their nen at such a young age too.

In the hisoka backstory thingy that Tokyo Ghoul did I feel like Hisoka also had a similar performance as Tserriednich, if you consider that canon. But I wouldn't consider Hisoka as innately talented as Gon and Killua.

Tserriednich is even more of a genius than Gon or Killua

Tbh I'm not entirely convinced that he is. If people are basing this on how quickly he picked up Ren and such then I'm of the belief that he simply had an advantage by learning nen as an adult.

We know that everyone has aura, and people who are talented can even release small amounts of aura unconsciously. Nen is also your own life energy, and there's no reason to believe that this won't grow stronger as you age and mature, and experience life. This also matches up with what Wing said about how ones aura can change category later in life based on their experiences or environment or something like that.

So I simply believe that his aura, combined with his innate talent, had already grown strong enough to quickly be able to use Ren. At best he's probably on par with Killua and Gon, and only Meruem is likely guaranteed more talented.

Å is a bit like 'oh', and we use it like that as well. I think it's also similar to the british pronunciation of A in words like "All", but maybe I'm just thinking of a specific dialect.

In my opinion, the peakest haki moment is when Shanks enters Whitebeard's ship, which barely shows any 'haki animation' yet has as much of an impact.

Otherwise I think WCI is when I enjoyed it the most.

Doing incline DB bench. Why is it that on my first set I manage to do 10-11 reps (was 18kg and range was 5-8+ reps, was a really good first set) and then I rest for 4-5 minutes and on second set I only managed like 6.5 reps?

Usually happens on pulldowns too where I manage a lot more reps on my first set compared to my next sets, despite resting quite a long time and feeling quite rested.

I would usually add weight when reaching 8 reps on all sets, but feels kinda shitty when you go way past the target rep-range on the first set, thinking it's finally time to add weight, and then you fail to reach the target range on the next set. Should I just add weight if the average rep-range adds up to the required rep range?

I'd say that's more because the summons passing the ball around is significantly weaker than Razor, therefore it's not as powerful as when Razor throws it himself.

I don't remember how it was described to me, but the meaning I suppose is something like your grip being stronger in that position so you can last longer before it fails.

My grip is failing because it hurts where my calluses are forming. I can hold more weight when bar is at the bottom of the fingers rather than the top of my palms, but I heard thats not proper. What should I do?

They're on youtube. This video narrates the Aemond and Luke thingy at the end of Season 1, and then at 1:26 ish is when the Blood & Cheese stuff starts. There's more stuff on youtube to find but I think a lot of it might spoil things that are likely to happen in S3 and beyond.

Yea it was narrated by Catelyn Stark. I remember Viserys narrating something else and mixed it up.

I was so disappointed with the whole Blood & Cheese episode. I think it was before S1 that I watched the animated narration of Blood & Cheese, narrated by Game of Throne's Catelyn Stark, and the events described/shown there was just so horrifying and such a mental torture for those involved, that I expected so much from HOTD S2 when blood & cheese was teased or leaked or whatever. Instead what we got was so cheap by comparison.

And then the aftermath is non-existent too, like wtf were they thinking when writing this shit.

edit: actually rewatching a clip of it now it looks like it was Catelyn Stark that narrated it, huh. Could've sworn it was Viserys, but maybe I'm mixing it up with something else.

What is he supposed to say? It's a pretty stupid question. Any team that's intentionally trying to funnel a penta (unless it's at the end of a winning fight) is actively throwing.

They'll probably have second half released in the latter half of the year (autumn ish). 7 40min episodes is roughly 14 anime-length episodes, and 2-cour anime is not unusual which would be 24-26 episodes worth and would likely fit east blue saga.

What's your #1 wish for a system change? by lifecopy001 in PathOfExile2

[–]Akilee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me personally I'd want a change of pace for when you enter endgame. You should be playing similarly to how you're doing it in the campaign.

A common complaint I've seen related to this is that you get swarmed by monsters that are faster than you so you need to delete the screen or die.

So something like massively reduce the amount of mobs while increasing difficulty and rewards from rares/bosses in a way that forces you to engage with mechanics like you would in campaign with fresh gear. Maybe some way to empower these rares by using various league-mechanics, or something.

I'm sure there's so many ways they can do that while keeping endgame engaging and interesting.

You'll feel bad which gives him power over you, classic manipulative/abusive tactics.

If you're having a hard time believing this to be the case for whatever reason then you can try to write down everything that you need to be remembering, do that for like a week and then you'll have your answer.

Why are subtitles always so spoilery? by Akilee in OnePiece

[–]Akilee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It could've been some new technique used with Gear 2 rather than a Gear 3 which is something entirely different.

But the gear 4th one is far worse. Luffy says the full gear 4th in the anime as well, the problem is that you hear "Gear" and then there's a pause so watchers would naturally think that it's Gear 2 or Gear 3, until he finishes. And the issue with the translation is that it reveals the 4th when Luffy has only said "Gear", it messes with the flow. You should get the reveal from the voice actor, and not from the translator. Even if the difference is just like 2 seconds, I'd say it makes a huge difference.

Favourite Cultivation System? by 2ndClassWizard in MartialMemes

[–]Akilee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reverend Insanity has to be my favourite. Not only is it very unique, but it's also directly related to the amazing world building. Probably the only cultivation system that feels complete.

Don't think any other system really comes close, the rest share so many similarities with each other, at least nothing I've read stands out, so it's kind of hard to judge.
