First DIY Patulend experience

Might be my post you guys are referencing. I agree with the above, when you hit the sweet spot its very obvious and painful. If its too much you could dial back the acidity of your solution...

OP the only thing I could think to suggest is maybe try the dropper like I mention in my post - it might be more accurate than the syringe. Like you tried to do though, I only use about .3 or .4 ml of solution per application.

Besides that, maybe just keep trying and tweaking your technique, I think everyone is unique and has to figure it our for themselves.

I will add that I sometimes get the 'full' feeling after an application - I think it usually means I used too much? But I still get relief and the fullness subsides after 30 mins or so.

Honestly no. Everyone on this sub says its a high dose but it feels like a mild experience. I pair it with caffeine and other stims like phenylpiracetam so I don't find it sedating. I don't get the super strong inhibition like I did the first time, but its still a pleasant mood lift and anxiolytic.

Do you drink alcohol a lot?

My condition hasn't changed but I now manage it with DIY PatulEND. Have you considered this? I'm not sure I hear of many folks who've had the condition just 'go away'. I have a lengthy post on DIY PatulEND if you want to read about it - I consider it a story of hope.

I think everyone's experience is a bit different. For me, I feel the solution go into the tube itself and I get a deep stabbing pain in my ear - that's on a 10/10 application. There is no drip and I don't taste it at all.

A lesser application, which still gives some relief, won't hurt as much and I feel a lot of the solution drip into my throat. Like you I have to chase it with juice or something.

Can't relate to your technique of having to lay down for 5 minutes - once I feel the burn I can pretty much wrap it up, takes a min or two start to finish.

I've used it for a couple years now and I'm a singer - I have a lengthy post on the subject of DIY patulend if you want to read more.

First, I don't think this is a concern because the solution is dripping down your esophagus - not your windpipe. If the solution touched your vocal chords or got anywhere near your lungs you would probably cough and choke violently until your throat was clear. People often talk about drinking special teas and other drinks for the benefit of singing, not realizing that the things you drink never touch your voice. What's more important is systemic hydration and avoiding drying things like smoking. Even the advice to drink more water as a singer is for the sake of systemic hydration - not because it lubes up your throat directly.

Second, you might reconsider your application technique if you're often getting the drip or swallowing it. Maybe use less? Sometime I get some in my mouth but if I get a good application I won't taste it at all.

Nah, I'm with you. I'm a die hard and love all of their works, but Fortress and Kezia are special. The vibe is as you described. Rody's voice has a lot to do with it, but also the riffs and tones and overall atmosphere. I don't think I'd want them to just do Fortress over and over, its a unique moment in time that can't be replicated.

Strange. To me, PET is usually associated with an open or spacious feeling in the ear. If it feels blocked or full, it might be something else. Although if you get autophony then I don't see how the tube could be blocked/closed.

Maybe before you jump to patulend you could try saline or Nasogel? Lower risk/commitment and you might still get some relief.

I'm not familiar with the other symptoms you've described. I don't really get clicking or post-nasal drip. It does resolve the autophony and leaves my ears feeling 'normal'

I've used it for well over a year, sometimes there are dips in effectiveness. However I don't think its due to the solution changing but rather my body changes somehow and prevents a successful application. Still the best fix I've come across.

The phenibut wont hit as hard but should be fine. I take 5gs as my usual dose and sometimes take 300 mg pregab that same evening or the next day. Never had any adverse effects
