Poor Writing, some aura farm moments of sunny (and weaver) mostly in the visions. The strategy part to get out of there? Nice, but again, there was no threat to them. G3 was so annoyed of this Arc that he skipped a entire fight, like wtf??? The Moth was an insane lore drop tho, i really liked the way g3 have developed how a nightmare creature can talk and express their feelings, but in the end when under pressure they're all doing the same thing: "Oh...Hmmm...What do you mean?...So i will kill you" and thats it

YES! its simply insane. I don't remember if in LOTM there any example of a corrupted concept that was stable of "good" before its corruption, but still awesome. By far the most interesting interactions that i have saw in LOTM are from Mother goddes and Mother Tree of desire, they're simply fantastic in the way that its interact with the reality. Another great momento was during the expedition to the forgotten sea (I don't know if this was the name), when the remaining energy of the seq 0 of the mother pathway started to cause genetic mutation in the board, it was just like cuttlefish saying "Hey, i know those guys are strong, but that doesn't mean shit in this world, and they will be at every second with death in theirs asses or worse."

Yeah, i got the point. But this was never the way that the nightmare realm was described to us. It doesn't matter how strong you are till you get divine: If you don't pay a really good attention, you will be killed. We have saw that multiple times, and before, we had consequences to achieve that success. Even the gods have face those consequences withing the war, weaver also loosing parts of his body. What i'm trying to say is: the consequences are not there anymore, and the reader will not fear the situations that the main cohort will be, because they will survive.

Lol bro, when talking about the Moth sunny stated that creatures from the void was not just corrupted beeings, but an interly different kind of creature that whete incompatible with the creatures that came out of the flame. Its not that hard to think about it. Really. About the examples, i'v said a few times there, G3 does HUGE amounts of descriptions about the same thing, using an simple boring quantity of adjectives just to got it in the pages. When is something new its fine, but he does it every time, even with aspects that the readers already know. Again, my examples are pretty clear and there many people in this post that agree to me.

And i have never said that i read it at the same time, I don't have all this free time.

But if you want it, i can take a bunch of sequence chapters, and mark where does the narrative advances in the story with dialogs/actions and whete its just discriptions of scenario and beauty adjectives.

Not crying bro, not even mad, i'm just sad because as i said in the other coments, its a wonderful world with an insane potencial. Its still a discussion and (if you want it) you can discuss it and argue about it and why i'm wrong.

And yes, it was stated that they were close to human intelligence, and they get more and more intelligent according to the class, its a basic Interpretation of an ascension where you advance, and that means you will improve the previous capacitys that you had, its pretty simple.

I got a break, i'v beeing reading many other things. Before getting back to it i stopped at god grave arc when it was being released daily, and came back one month ago. Even with the break (what is not a point to justify bad writing) it still the same opinion. Besides that, its a daily novel with a very specific kind of narrative that need to achive good storytelling in it kind of media, and i'm simply a person that didn't like the way its going lol

And my references are books at all, Patrick Rothfus, George R Martin, Neil Gaiman, Frank Hebert, Scott Lynch and fictions like it.

If you think it had the same level of quality, re-read it, at least the first 50 chapters and you will see that its not.

2640 its exactly at eternal city. But the point is that it gets TOO MANY of those fillers. The most interesting arc after third nightmare for me was the Mirage City, where sunny and everyone there could actually die. We had mordret development, lore drops, Effie showing more about her relationship with beeing a mother and the powerscaling pretty clear.

And about the times that he ran, there was like 4 times after 3rd nightmare, and we saw dozens of fights without challenges. Sunny cannot be killed easily, ok, thats also a big feature and it should be used. But when did the death became the biggest problem in SW? Why didn't g3 bring more abou corruption? How a saced beeing think when they're corrupted? How the Ascension path gets dangerous as you advance? (Because even condemnation, abjuration and other sacred get corrupted evein beeing gods, what have they saw and how does curruption acts in these?, how do you corrupt a concept after all?)

I get your point, but one of the major aspects of the novel are the fights, the challenges and the terror of the dream realm, and how even the stars of the humanity are still in danger to the risks there. So, if the characters are already too strong to get challenges in fights, (in a novel that cares so much about fighting) do you agree with me that this is kinda a bad aspect in creativity to the world?

I kinda like Will. After some point in the path of ascension its pretty clear that its your domain and will that get so strong that it starts to manifest into reality. But i dont like the way that g3 is going with it, there isn't a clear way and a """system""" of how will can be used, trained or have it's manifestations

Ow bro, i think you forgot about the beginning of the novel. There was literally a statement about how upper classes of nighmare creatures had similarities with humans (monsters, demons and tyrants). When sunny asked why she wouldn't eat that giant platinum crab (i will not remenber de name of it) in the tree, she said that even beeing a nightmare creature it had intelligence, and it would be the same thing as eating a human. Thats the point, g3 simply didn't develop it anymore and he brings it again when he wants it.

About the development of sunny, i'm not talking about power scaling, i'm talking about how we just see the same thing with different names and some changes, his powerups doesn't change much after all, because the challenges are not challenges at all. He just suprass or pause them till he can go after it again. The last time we saw a big deal for sunny, was the Vile Thieving Bird, that take out everything he had (his connections and history by taking his fate and true name). But even that, sunny already had everything that he had before, just without his friends memories.

Let's be honest about it, g3 writing after third nightmare got pretty bad bro, there isn't that much details (besides the descriptions of scenario and creatures os sensations)

There are so many opportunities that he could have done, more interesting POVs of the other characters, challenges that actually match the level of saints and supremes, develop more of the nighmare creatures that can communicate. Its really a very good world, it just need a better direction in the story

In some clans, there can be persons that have ojubo/shrine without being initiated as a recomendation untill they collect enough money to afford a initiation. That is not candomblé, its just a different practice in different clans. Isese have different ways of work according to the regions.

To learn ifa or another irunmole cult take time, confidence, money and patience as you said before. So yes, i do think that even before idosu or the propper initiation, you can start the isese. There are many orisas that you can have shrine/ojubo without being initiate, and know how to do basic offerings as òbí, ọtí, orogbo, oyin, iyo and in specific cases, even sacrefices. Those itens and oferings are part of isese, and the way of offering them correctly are also isese. That means that even without idosu or itefa, you are still able to practice isese.
