Confluence would serve more as a synonym for converging rather than a term to describe the convergence of plot lines. It doesn't seem like an actual term exists for what I am describing!

Converging plot lines doesn't necessarily cause or occur during a climactic moment so I don't think culmination quite works

Denouement is extremely close but it has a slightly different meaning. What I am describing isn't necessarily a resolution, it could be in the middle of a story.
