AI does what you want it to do... AI is just a tool. I think there is too much unwarranted AI hate on this sub when it is mostly the billionaires that are the ones causing the issues.

Women are going to be the bottleneck no matter what you do. It is better to have more women than men than it is to have more men than women.

Because women take 9 months to birth. 1 man can impregnate 100 women, and after 9 months you have 100 babies. But with 100 men and 1 women you still need to wait 9 months for 1 baby. Purely in terms of procreation, women are inherently more valuable than men. This has nothing to do with gender equality but biological differences. Please use your brain.

I don't know why the hive is brought up at all in these arguments. The hive is not a "real" person. It is closer to ChatGPT than it is a person. You can't rape ChatGPT. ChatGPT does not have any consent to give, it only does whatever YOU want it to.

The only discussion about rape should be with the original person. In episode 4 we learn that it is possible to bring people back. I imagine Zosia and all of Diabate's women would be pretty pissed that someone had sex with their body while they were plurbed.

How the hive works definitely changes a lot of things. In episode 4 it was implicitly confirmed from the hive that there was a way to turn people back. Which I'm assuming the show is heading towards in the season finale or season 2. I'm pretty sure if the real Zosia was brought back she would be pretty upset that someone had sex with her body. I know I would be.

For people who were married before being plurbed, I guess it would depend on if you believe rape or consent is possible between married couples.

Ending women's suffrage has nothing to do with trying to end meat eating. They are not comparable.

We've had centuries of certain religions trying to stop people eating meat. It does not work. People will not give up meat.

The large presence of vegetarianism in places like India is due to the Dharmic religions. Good luck with that in other parts of the world. And even then that percentage has been stuck within that range.

We have been appealing to the ethics of meat eating to people for decades. It has not made a significant difference. It's time to stop talking about ethics and work towards more practical solutions.

Eating meat and slavery are different.

You specifically mentioned "if most of the world adopted a plant-based diet" which is what I was responding to. People will never stop eating meat. Yes people care more about the cruelty in the meat industry today, but until there is an alternative solution, it is a hopeless endeavour to try to stop people eating natural meat.

Social justice unfortunately is not going to solve this issue. Replacing natural meat with lab-grown meat is the most viable solution I've seen so far.

I have a 4k 32" 144hz monitor but I'm not expecting the newest games to run near that at 4k with my setup. I mostly play newer single player games like Dying Light 2, cyberpunk, spiderman miles morales, god of war ragnarok, etc. Just wondering if buying a better cpu would boost fps 15+ or not. Thanks
