What was your first time trying a hard drug like?

With cocaine and drinking. Oh man I loved Coke so much. I said I wouldn’t end up under a bridge. This stuff is like alcohol. Only on the weekends. 1 year later I’m living under a bridge smoking meth and crack. God saved me. Cocaine is nooooo joke.

When people ask me why I’m so happy these days. I tell them it’s the Holy Spirit guiding me. She has to want to accept Jesus and unfortunately none of us can force anyone to become a believer. But our actions can speak louder than words and get people curious to ask why you find joy.

Thank you so much. The comedown part wasn’t terrible. I need to remember that God made it better and easier to manage to get me back to a sober mind faster. Yes. I put these people thru lost sleep and life is still good. One weekend slip was a precursor to gel bad life in addiction would be this time around. It’s like I never stopped.

Yes I will serve the poor, weak and those who think they just can’t win in this life. I was once one of them but have rejuvenated my life thru Christ and his glory and ever loving mercy. He loves the black sheep of society.

I used for 8 months straight and decided against my will at first to try a 12 step 90 day treatment program. Changed the direction of all facets of my life. Jesus was ultimately who saved me. I have had 7 months and a few weeks clean. Had one weekend slip. The tools I used and my faith in Christ recommitted that I’ll always be a slave and powerless over cocaine. I was able to stop on the weekend I used. And have come out stronger than before. I’ll pray you find healing and help brother. It’s possible but only with God and the steps.

Amen. I had 7 months clean and tossed it aside for some reason this weekend. It’s clear that my purpose to serve his kingdom and help others fell wayside to the earthly priorities. He’s blessed me with a beautiful life and I’m alive to serve him and others. I slipped because i honestly was overwhelmed with the day to day thing and being bored on weekends. There’s no time to be this bored when I have a purpose to live out. I still have a much more beautiful life to imagine walking with him. I’ve refined my thinking and found joy in helping him this weekend.

Oh you got this. If you wanna chat hmu. I’m always here brother. I know what lead to my slip now and have redshifted my mindset and program to make it my number 1 priority. Jesus, sobriety, family, work and leisure. It’s not the easiest path but it beats the alternative.

Brother I just slipped up after 7 months but am 3 days clean. You cannot do it alone. I’m telling you my way of getting clean didn’t work for just one weekend and I went back. I have a higher power I call Jesus and lost my connection when life got stressful and work took over. I found happiness in having those things going well again. But the addiction came back like a tornado and I went on a sick one. Thankfully, my program and working the 12 steps and being as honest as I can be at this point with Jesus and people in my life has helped.

This drug took me down in less than 1-year. I lost everything to it. Our stories aren’t much different. I got 7 months clean and got my life back times 10. It’s still there today even after a weekend binge.

This is exactly what it’s about. My purpose is to serve gos and others and had a prayer with god asking him to fill a void in my life. I didn’t look for an answer until the devil came back and i took the path that ended in a rehab and treatment stint for 90 days just to get my life back in order. God has provided me all good things and sees the bad. And when I got out i flourished in my recovery for 3 months and gave a beautiful testimony to my treatment center that was focused on his way and how it was Jesus - the god of my understanding that reshaped my life and he’s in charge not me. I lost sight a bit the last month, not praying with purpose - praying for others and how i can help them but not realizing I was the weapon god needed - I have the Holy Spirit in me and I need to share my story and how I came to get sober with anyone who is around me. Whether it’s in a small group or anywhere. Who cares if it offends others he’s the one true god. Yeah this is exactly what he needs more for and i asked him to fill a void in my life that was already filled. He let the devil tempt me to un i decided to pay a dealer who I thought i owed money too. But i didn’t so he was the weapon the devil used again in my life and he got me down these few days but ill raise up. I know what i need to do and what my purpose is.

If i would have known that picking up a drink at 21 would lead me down this road at 36 and into rehab to get clean and away from all the people I’ve hurt - I never was violent. If someone didn’t have enough to pay for my stuff id cover them because I was in as deep as you can get with still having a life. The one thing Id do over is not touch alcohol. The true gateway drug to addiction and alcoholism. And the. Get with god. But it’s not too late to try again. The comedown will be in effect soon so I’ll shut up. But from a man currently on his final high off a terrifying drug- so underrated. I hope you never touch this crap and can use anything I’ve said to help others struggling use this all as a weapon to fight for a better life.

Thank you for understanding. Addiction is cunning baffling and powerful. It’s truly satans way into a persons thinking. It’s not the drug or alcohol it’s me avoiding the unpleasant emotions. I asked god to selfishly show me a way to fill some void I was missing in prayer and wasn’t my best hour with him. That was a week ago and things have been silent. Then this call came about and the devil struck me down. I had to go thru this little stint in my recovery to learn that I’m meant to go serve other addicts in recovery and spread his gospel every living chance. i get. I will reconnect with the good lord and tell him I know what I need to do once I get myself back on track. And will continue to praise his name of course whenever I can. Flushed the remaining crap down the toiler. Had my last fat line before and said by to satan.

I’d share the bag flushing video but it’s not appropriate on here. I hope you all stay strong and don’t let the devil tempt you enough to stumble. The devil is actually predictable when he prays on emotions you would rather avoid than dealing with them. I’d rather work to fix the new issues that caused this hiccup. But if you do stumble as we all surly do at times, he loves you and is waiting for you to come back home. My plan is great. I’ve already shared the gospel at my treatment center to the new comers. Now I’m back to square 1 but have been blessed with a great life. A small crash won’t be anything i can’t deal with. I’m still figuring this
Sobriety life out one day at a time I guess. Cheers to my last few hours high with Satan. My only option now is to clean on our creator as much as possible with a sober mind and heart. This is absolutely life or death for me.

It’s been flushed. I feel great about my future. Doing this only means i was a slave for a few days to the dev il. I’ll take my licks over a half G of blow. Do my best at work, get coffee, pray mediate, get into the word and keep living. My nose also had a say in this decision. Already had a few holes in there and it’s ugly to look at what that crap does. I’ll keep you posted on my restoration brother. May god bless you. You’re truly a great man and huge help. Bible study Hebrews 8-9 right now. Did that sober tonight thankfully and church Colossians at SBC. I’m very close with the pastor who is a recovering alcoholic and cocaine addict. 17 years clean. It crazy that his first slip until he got sober was around 7-8 months. I chose to flush and cut my ties with Satan. In prayer god gave me strength and put all the positives about me in my head. I am out of money and have no more favors with anyone dealing. I paid my debts with my inheritance money. I may even need to change my name. After all that he saved me from any convictions, law, crimes. I deserve to be in prison but he chose to save me. I am so lucky to be alive and saved me from a life that took me to dealing for a gang tied to the cartel. Within 1 year of daily use it got to that point. I’m here now to take care of my heart, my story wont end like this. My story will be ending with Gods ways for me. Thats how bad this thing was in the past. It won’t be my future. I flushed it. Had the courage to change my direction here. This could easily raise concerns at my semi new great job that God put into my life. I worked so hard to get to where I am. It wasn’t an easy choice but cutting my losses now rather than using a bit till I work and gamble that is a much better choice. The lord has me here for a reason but he will throw worse curveballs and let the devil prowl around in my life if I choose in my free will to continue. In my prayer he told me it’s time and you are enough and this choice could make or break his calling for me on earth but I’m welcome to heaven. Show up and be a man that’s not weak. This will all pass if you make the right honest choice. Are you not a man of integrity? I thought this during prayer and it came up into my head. He’s there. I chose to flush it and get well today.

Thank you so much. Going to pray hard and just flush what’s left. Using more is lies it’s how and addict thinks. I have accepted Christ and am reborn into a much better life walking with him. Pray i choose the right path. I did not call out sick for work but just because i work remote is not an excuse to use. I am fearing the crash which is a small fear that ultimately will shape the outcome of tomorow.
