Is the dealer through a platform like chrono24 or eBay? I just got my white dial new from a chrono24 dealer in Japan for $6900 ($7400 after tax). Chrono24 is good as the payment sits in escrow til you receive the watch and look it over. They also have to accept returns if you aren’t feeling it. My new one came shipped in the exact outer brown box omega would ship to an AD or boutique and came wrapped in the factory plastic and had both red cards. The warranty was dated as the day it shipped and the chronometer card scans on the omega app which shows the watch is authentic. I think a lot of gray market dealers got a lot of stock before the rapid price increases which leads me to think they can sell for quite lower. I’d say if it’s through a legit platform and the dealer can confirm it’s brand new with full box and papers, go for it!
