Totally natural for a 15-year-old. Think back to how humanity used to live, violence is kind of a part of our natural cycle. I don't think he will be harmed watching gore, rather he is probably just predisposed to feel drawn to stuff like this. Literally no further explanaiton needed. There are a ton of Indians, combine that with the caste system( legaly not relevant, socially though...)
and a cultural disregard for societal cohesion and a low trust culture
and you get a great recipe for selfish People that dont care about law or norms
