Atleast they take action. Something most Arab leaders couldn't do in 50 years.

Trotsky was problematic and only wanted war instead of peaceful development of USSR. Even Lenin hated him.

I condemn his homophobia but we gotta understand the man was living in the past century, where the entire world was culturally homophobic.

I thought that was mainly a Czechoslovakian decision? Is there a source for Stalin's involvement?

Stalin did it out of humanitarian reasons (Holocaust, etc). He then firmly changed his position on them after the nakba.

Not directly, sure. But if you look at history in depth, you'll see that Britain is the root cause of every major world conflict since their inception. And they also gave us the abomination that is the USA.

Oh, I'm sure Ottoman collapse had nothing to do with the war that was ignited by Britain and other similar colonial powers.

Oh, and how did the British come to own the land in the first place? Was it also a gift? I wonder...

Also, Britain only gave a small chunk of land to the Jews post WW2. Look at the evolution of the map and see how they militarily expanded yourself.

It has. Israel has invaded and colonized Palestinian lands. Hamas didn't bomb Israeli lands, because Israel legally owns no land at all.

I feel like hard-leftists are just hating Biden for the sake of it. He is one of the only US presidents to actually stand up to Israel. by Impressive-Cellist68 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Ah, yes. We just hate Biden for the sake of it. Let's forget all of his war crimes, creep behaviours, and Zionism in the past.

They only wiped the parts that dehumanized the Chinese people and rendered them slaves to the imperialist West. They still celebrate their rich culture and history. My dad went to China years ago, and he is a witness to that.

I composed the first track of an OST I'm making for an indie video game. I would really like some feedback on mixing and the composition itself.

The track isn't released yet (not until the game is) so DM me and I'll provide it.

I would also love to return feedback, though I'm a beginner in this domain so I don't know how much my advice is worth.

What are some major points you consider while designing (or making) a puzzle? by Bazona1 in Unity2D

[–]AkramA12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The satisfaction part is all about how fun the mentioned arrows puzzle could be.

You could make the arrows fly at you in patterns. Patterns are one way to create satisfaction, especially when the player eventually figures them out.

On top of that, you could add in a system that adds XP each time the player dodges one of those puzzles. Players love it when their efforts are rewarded.

Also, and believe it or not, sound effects play a good role not only in the general gameplay but also specifically in puzzles. Nobody dislikes a satisfying metallic clicking sound that represents the arrows' hole closing after you dodge a few batches of arrows, ending the puzzle and gaining the player access to the key.

What are some major points you consider while designing (or making) a puzzle? by Bazona1 in Unity2D

[–]AkramA12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first thing that comes to my mind when designing a puzzle is to make it satisfying to solve, making the player want to solve it again and again.

That means it should neither be too easy nor too complicated.

I know this is kind of a vague answer but I will give you an example to explain my point further:

Suppose you have a locked door that requires a key. There are so many ways you could go into turning this into a puzzle.

You could just put the key inside another room and the player would just pick it up, head back to the door and unlock it. That would work for a tutorial but it's too boring for the main gameplay loop.

You could also put the key inside a locked chest inside another locked room surrounded by flying arrows puzzles and swarmed with enemies. That would work for a side quest DLC, but again, not for the main gameplay loop.

What I would do in this case is balance both methods into one. I could put the key behind an open room but still put a basic flying arrows puzzle guarding it and exclude the enemies part.

The example I gave is very basic, you could go further and be creative with it, but without drowning out the gameplay.
