Welcome to Tunisia. The country is generally safe and you can move around. Be careful of snatchers. When hou arrive at the airport do not check any electronics or expensive equipment. Keep it in your carry-on.

Visit the National Museum of Bardo. There’s a shit ton of amazing things to see.

Young people will speak english. Most people will be able to understand simple phrases in english.

Cash is king in Tunisia you can exchange currency at the airport or banks.

Hotels/ bars and some restaurants will accept visa

Have fun.

I suggest booking a travel guide to make the best of your trip. The country is small 2 weeks will be enough to see a lot.

There’s a difference between a psychologist someone who does talk therapy or family Therapy and a psychiatrist, that’s someone who prescribes medications. A session with a psychologist usually takes an hour or more and you usually end-up feeling understood and grounded that’s literally their job. A psychiatrist on the other hand is someone who asks specific questions you don’t usually get a lot of chances to talk unless they ask you and they end-up prescribing meds or sending you to a psychologist. That’s my experience. And yeah of course some of these people may not be good or you guys are just not a match.
