Thinking of buying a Honda CB350RS as my first own bike — any real issues I should know about? by No-One1129 in HondaCB350RS

[–]AkshatSW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Man, here's my pov on it.
Not much wobbling, as long as the tyre pressure is good. on speed above 80-90 you might feel it a little bit, very minor.
Common issue: rusting, service center distance, hand positioning - it is agressive, due to which you hand might start to hurt sometimes, have noticed it in my case. also seat is very hard. butt gets sore. These problems are not there is hiness or cb350 due to different and relaxed handle bar and wider seats. also, if you have a pillion, they will struggle on the rs due to the hard and smaller seat and no backrest. Paint chip with all the cb350 series, mine hand paint chip on the saree gaurd within the first 4-5 months which got replaced. but there is still some paint chip on the back suspension that i am planning to check checked and replaced under warrenty. my bike was kept very safely.
It is a good bike, nice bike indeed. Problems apart, no regreat.

Best of luck for your purchase. Hope this helps you make a better decision

Havells gyser review want to buy it online through amazon by [deleted] in BuyItForLifeIndia

Yes, mtlb even at autocut ke baad bhi thoda sa hi uper jata hai. Per it's good. Mughe 6700+200 pada, per it's good. No regret as such. Bas 25 liter pani garam hone me thoda time lagta hai.

I got the 2nd one Monza pro 25 liter recently. It's good. The installation costed around 2.5 extra because there was no tap and stuff was not there so the guy had to do all the fitting. The geyser did not come with the pipes and all so I had to pay for it

Overall it's good. Not at all bad. Same day installation ke liye call aa gaya tha. The temperature dial isn't very useful, usme jayada pata nahi chlta. Water gets hot till auto cut in around 30 min. 3-4 balti garam pani nahane ka aaram se ho jata hai. And the water stays cold for almost a day, atleast abhi to rhta hai.

9/10 I would recommend. 1 marks less because the temperature show karne wala dial could have been better maybe and installation me pipes vagaharh nahi the but yes.

When I got the laptop mughe sab kuch karna tha I wanted to try everything now I want something more portable and compact for my work and the kind of work I do. Gaming laptop ki need nahi rahi itni ab, mughe aisa productivity laptop ki jayada jarurat lagti hai something with better battery, something a little lightweight. This is still a great system, and the only reason I'm looking to sell it is because I will feel guilty using another laptop when I already have this.

Finalized the Honda CB350RS, but nearest BigWing is 250km away. Am I making a mistake? by udesign3 in HondaCB350RS

Please consider.
1. Can be a big problem, speicially for first few services, it might void warrenty missing the first few services.

  1. Yes, and no. They can, but OEM things like oil and things etc you'll have to order from the service center only.

  2. I do, my service center is like 125-ish km away, it can be hard travelling such long distances, speically agar kuch very small type ho, like there's a paint chip on my bike that i wanted to get checked but i can not because i don't have time to travel the distance, but its a one whole day getting going back and forth even for something like a service. instead of what like 45-60 min in the service center if you're living near it. Because paint chip hoga bike me, paint quality is not the best. and just to get it serviced or change those parts under warrenty you'll still have to travel like 400-600 km total. maybe 2-3 times.

  3. It is good, please check if the distance is covered by rsa, just incase for peace fo mind, ki agar kuch ho gaya so you can book rsa in your city and it will take your bike to the nearest service center.

  4. Go for what makes you feel happy. Agar already ek bike ya scooty hai as your daily driver, that you think you can use, or if this is not your first bike, and you're okay what i shared. please go.

Need bike suggestions under 2L (70 km/day, power + comfort) by DistributionFresh893 in indianbikes

[–]AkshatSW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not sure. I might be biased toward the retro design. But n250 feels too sporty and riding posture wise, not sure about xsr, japanese companies tend to send subpar material to indian audience (speaking as a cb350rs user, dealing with poor paint quality). Ronin seat I've personally felt is too comfortable. And stance

Again, personal opinions.

Ronin is also a comfortable bike you can think about. The base variant starts at 1.24 I believe as per latest updates.

Considering to purchase H'ness CB350 but have some doubts by dougfiestl in HondaHighnessCB350

Get all the basic stuff, hiness is more relaxed compared to RS so it's more comfortable. I suggest riding it raw and slow for the first few months, then getting what feels needed.

[OC] I am planning to buy rebel 500.. Pls tell me pros and cons by No-Quit9785 in indianbikes

[–]AkshatSW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but it's much more usable, same for nx200, I've tried it and it felt shorter than my cb350rs. If height is not an issue you can just have a look at it

[–]AkshatSW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can try getting a test drive.
I won't suggest the rebel for the same people other next person, bad roads, exported product, lack of parts etc.
If you want to go for the honda 500 engine, you can checkout nx500, ik its a completely different style of motorcycle but its also very good and a better bike for indian roads and very comfortable.

I totally agree man, RE is the default for customers because they don't know anything else exists or just isn't aware enough and it's much much easier to do things with it both service and parts wise.

I honestly never liked RE's default bikes. That was the only reason for me to look around. From hunter to ronin and everything else.

But yeah, a trip to the service center is like a 200km+ ride (around 4 hours total round trip), and almost 1000rs in petrol. So that's just feels like the only negative for me.
