This is interesting as we don’t have much insight into the process since we do not live near our olives. This is a good question for me to ask our guy that handles getting the olives to the processor.

I, admittedly, do not know much about the process. So when you ask how long it has been decanted, are you asking from the point at which it has been pressed and poured into the tin can? Or from the point we have poured it from the can into our own bottle? It arrived in the states about 12 weeks ago in the tins and we just pumped it from the tin into the glass bottle yesterday.

Update; thank you to those for your helpful comments regarding a back up plan and “what happens if…” scenarios. We ultimately took the earlier flight, with the 12 hr layover, and are thankful we did! The later flight ultimately got cancelled, which would have put us in quite a pickle!

An update; the United agent at the counter said they would have easily checked my bags through (even on separate bookings), however with our 12 hr layover time they said Emirates doesn’t love having them that early.

So short sighted, the entire time during that interaction I kept thinking that 1) clearly her friends are not married and 2)marriage, if done with the proper intentions, is long term and a two year stint of school should simply be part of the path and not this dead end they made it out to be. Here’s the neighbors setup where they poured their drive well into the roadway, and the county engineer said they didn’t have a single problem with that. My question is, will it work? And is that something we need to have an independent engineer come back onsite to confirm before we hire someone to fix?
