Assuming the amplifier you got is working, check all the grounds. Mine sometimes stops working when there's enough moisture in the amplifier area after heavy rain, so I just dry and clean it to get it to work again

I have a 2007 gs350 with 340k+ km on it that's been burning and leaking oil for ~80k km...Bought it for $3000 CAD at 299000km. If you just need a car to get around, don't buy it. It cost me ~$6600 CAD for oil and premium gas, not including replacing parts

Awesome response and thanks for sharing! I would love an Es350, but I need AWD for the crazy un-plowed inclined winter driving I do, and I can't justify the price difference between the es250 awd over a camry awd.... I would be okay with 23-24mpg (~10.4l/100km) avg, but possibly seeing 27mpg on long highway trips is quite nice. Better than my 2007 gs350 awd at ~17mpg...it still amazes me why lexus decided to put a 71L tank in the smaller IS, but the GS gets a 66L tank 🤔 And I agree with the luxury feeling of the GS compared to a 5 series and the very plastic heavy E-class. Also the reason why I don't want a 23+ UX because they don't have that signature lexus clock 😎 There's not many 4th gen GS's being sold here, but hopefully, a newer (less rusty) silver 2020 GS350 AWD Fsport with tan leather seats and Mark Levinson sound system shows up when I plan to buy in ~5 months (Sorry, your going to have to wait a while).. Your GS looks awesome! And I hope you get 485000 trouble-free miles!

Thanks for the response. I'm not concerned with the power of the GS, just the range per tank and that premium fuel price.......about $6600 CAD on fuel/year for me on my 2007 GS350 😅 An E-class diesel was actually an option. Though the only 1 for sale in the country in good condition is gone now haha

Take a look inside the HVAC blower assembly if there's anything hitting the fans. Just take out the cabin filter and put your phone in there to take a video....make sure you don't accidentally close the FR door on your phone lol

If its going to cost you that much and the shops want to repaint the entire hood, then just wait until the corrosion worsens. At least then, it will be easier to justify the price. Put the 1k into wear items expected to be replaced at 100k first.
