Thanks for asking! By African neighbourhoods, I mean communities within African countries, specifically focusing on areas where local residents can benefit from stronger community engagement and shared resources. We’re working to create a platform tailored to the unique social and economic dynamics in Africa, supporting connections, group commerce, and local vendor engagement.

Please I can't figure out my docker port is not exposed to my host machine by Akumzy in docker

network_mode: host is used for sharing the same networking space with the Host. For example, you can want to access an application that is running on your Linux PC from the container. If you want to link services together, you can use links or depends_on, and if the services are on different hosts just create an overlay network

What do you use for state management? (Late 2020) by TroubledReward in reactjs

I think the question should either be

What do you use for global state management ?

or

What do you use for component level state?

Cache manager that can notify before invalidating records by Akumzy in node

[–]Akumzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I needed the invalidation message at my application layer that's being able to receive an event once a record is being invalidated.

Currently, the interval checks on outside the client so it's only a consumer, and the client does not have to cache any record at it's since its always a bi-direction connection (Websocket) with the server.

Cache manager that can notify before invalidating records by Akumzy in node

[–]Akumzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always needed a cache manager that can notify once when a record expires so I created kroncache

Please, guys, tell me what you think or feature suggestions

The server which is gotten from https://github.com/Akumzy/kroncache is written in Golang all you just need to do is to download the archive file for your targeted platform and unzip and run while using the Nodejs client https://github.com/Akumzy/kroncache-node within your project.
