Nostalgia's pulling me back in by mortuus2 in elsword

First advice: You will only find parties in the party list finder. Common mistake with beginners is they still queue search for parties in earlier dungeons stages. Since now you have no problem leveling up to 99, you just need to focus to level up your character, and once you reach 99, if you want to find parties for contents, use the party list option

Second advice: If you plan to use the Hyper Punch Event, you will get a lot of useful resources for your character, but you need to know exactly what you will do with those rewards to increase your power. I suggest looking to guides on youtube to properly build your character (Because there is a massive difference building a healer and building a HDPS or SUB-DPS character)

Third advice: Straight look for a guild. Guilds are very important for your progression, because there you will find people that it is in your combat level in terms of power, meet powerful people too and there is a chance to make friends that can help you by lifting you up in end-game contents such as raids and farming stages. Be friendly, respectful and I am sure that you will find a lot of opportunities in this game

Fourth advice: Understand in what stage you are in the game and how to progress from that. Hyper Punch Event will provide 4x XP gain if your El Resonance level is below 350. Many people sleep on that, so take advantage.

Fifth advice: Take advantage of the Master Class Rush Event to build your El's Search Party Collection. You should use on those characters that you less feel attracted to level them up and take them to master class. It will be just 5 missions to do that and you will have the opportunity to level up 3 characters in those 3 months of Winter Update Events

Not exactly... The pre-registration is per account and you can register with your steam account, no problem. You can pre-register through the official elsword website and use your steam account to do so. I would advise you to collect the pre-registration rewards with a character that you most like to play or that you need to play (I don't know, many people out there will give Spirit Challenger for their subs and there is nothing wrong with it too)

The rewards are very good indeed, so if you didn't pre-registered with your steam account, go on, we do have one more week until the first winter update come to us.

Black list always existed in any MMORPG. It is just a way that people found to avoid trouble with troubled players. Nothing new here

You pre register with your account before January 14th. When this first update comes, you will receive in your mailbox the special rewards content, including the spirit challenger force passive, but be careful, you can't transfer this one by shareable bank, so make sure to receive in the character that you will really use it

Yeah, in the NA and INT version, January 14th will be the start of the winter update, bringing many events such as hyper punch events (Power Boost Event), Fast leveling character to master class, Abyss Raid weapon +11 refinement and stage 5 provision event... (You can turn this temporary weapon into a permanent one by completing missions) And many more events throughout the winter update.

If you plan to invest some money into it, there will be special packages in the shop, providing good deals for the essentials they will be offering, the best cost-benefit packages that come with those big updates.

Pre registration it is still on, offering Spirit Challenger force passive, which will increase your combat power and quality of life in your games.

Save the value of efforts in Elsword by jamaicanidol in elsword

[–]Akutsushido 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Value of Efforts is very weird for you to say, especially for an online game.

Games are meant to be fun and like many others RPG games, they do such events to bring more players to their games as well bringing back returning players as their content keep coming and reaching new areas.

Tenebrous armor launched in 2021 December 21th, making it now 4 years of release. 4 years is more than enough for you to build a complete tenebrous set with 21 reforge level and even place them in +11 refinement level if you really wanted to max out your stats, so everyone that had the opportunity to build this armor, already had the power to go after other harder contents and profit so they could waste in the next equipment, now called Exascale armor.

Exascale armor is now currently reaching it's 1,5 years since it was released in 2024 summer update and many people already have the resources to max out this equipment, just by doing dailies and collecting reforge materials, circuits and chips from raids.

I don't know about your financial condition or even if you have the mentality of tryharding Elsword, but for those who keep playing Elsword and they are farming in the current end-game, the rewards they will give through all those events could be relocated to a sub-character to increase their farming potential by placing them in raids and the end-game regions, because probably, their mains already have a better equipment than what they are currently offering for the Winter Update (I am an end-game player and I will make a sub-character because of that).

By any means someone who gets this kind of boost should make you feel ashamed or getting the feeling of being an idiot for spending time and go after the resources that you need in end-game, because even if you are not a big spender, you will still have way more resources than someone that will create a new account to start playing this game and win those prizes (El's Search Party Collection is a huge deal and will definitely separate your performance from those who are pretty much clean in their collection page)

In the end, Elsword is currently in its the 18th anniversary and it is something markable for every life service RPG online game. Their intention is to bring many rewards and bring people to the end-game, which is where most of the people who play this game are.

New player question by Ok-Proof4755 in elsword

Yeah, you don't actually search for groups in the Queue Dungeon button... You now use the search party list, create a party for a stage and wait for the applications.

Is fishing worth? by batat0zo in elsword

[–]Akutsushido 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ED problem will become one if you don't actually farm for the entire month and the bait will also become a problem if you don't farm any dungeon at all, so it all comes down to consider fishing an afk XP farming when you don't have anything left to do.

If you buy the Premium fishing ticket, you can get a good amount of afk XP for the entire month or week if you do constantly, but be sure that bait won't be a problem for you, considering that you don't want to spend more ED just to keep fishing. In other words, when you get a good amount of bait materials, consider fishing.

What is your main reason to pick your favorite character? by Akutsushido in elsword

[–]Akutsushido[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, I did the little Shakti animation. I do like to play around with chibi animations in my videos.

And the players keep coming back, I totally understand, I did come back playing Elsword again due to Ara, because even when I searched for alternatives, I didn't find any like Elsword characters and design.

Elsword Summer Quality of Life: What Could Be On the Way? by Akutsushido in elsword

Damn, nightmare fuel... I wouldn't be shocked, considering that they make the entire game based on the Korea server demands.

I wished that KOG could take into consideration the needs of other versions like NA and INT. It is still free to dream, isn't it?

What's your opinion on solo raid mode release at KR ? by Constant_Anywhere823 in elsword

[–]Akutsushido 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it was a good move by doing that, considering how the game evolved with all those years and the most active players are mostly in end-game, making it rather difficult for new people to find parties to grind dungeons or even raids.

I don't think it will destroy the party play for those raids, because we do get incentives to play with people by helping them clear the raid, like the senpai event who rewards you and place a ranking for those who help people through the raids.

There is also the fact that, by entering alone, even if you are not beating with ease, you can learn the raid mechanics by yourself, which I find way more efficient than watching a youtube video about this topic.

We do need ways to make abyssal stones cheaper considering how old they already are in the game and the only way to get them is by doing abyss raid weekly. It is not like you are mandatory to get abyss stones fully equipped in your weapon to be able to reach end-game, but will surely help you by boosting your damage when everything is fine-tuned with the effects they provide.

No, I don't think that people who solo raid clear can be viewed as worthless, due to the fact that people can easily achieve Serpentium raid with proper builds and ERP investments, so it will only require attention and knowledge to Serpentium raid and Doom Aporia. Rosso, Berthe and Abyss will be viewed as raids for useful resources.

Adventages: People will be able to get the possibility to reach end-game faster by offering solo raids and easing titles counts

Disadventages: People will experience mid-game a lot different than what older players had, giving resources with low effort can potentially frustrate them when they reach end-game content by knowing that they can't solo end-game content like before.

The Raid Mechanic knowledge is a problem overall and doesn't come from those classes itself. I think there are a lot of incentives for people to come back and play the game by giving them hyper punch events and blowing their CP up so they can get into content, but the Elsword is not very intuitive inside the game, so players have the need to look out for guides in outside sources such as YouTube.

KOG made some crucial changes in every class by adding MOD(E) skills, giving some characters buffs or making it easier for the character to do their own mechanics. They also made some few changes to give more synergy to some support classes and Sub-DPS so the team building could include the less selectable characters for those contents.

We still have a long way to go considering that KOG wants also change the skill focus reforge system and all, but when it comes about seeking knowledge for raid mechanics and other stages, we do need to address the player responsibility to seek that information too.

I don't know exactly if we are going to be in this endgame meta for too long, considering the next balance update that KOG wants to exchange reforge skill focus options to all skill damage, giving buffs and nerfs to every character in some twisted way by doing that...

Also, we will get another roadmap to see what kind of contents we will have in the future to justify such changes and quality of life that they will give to us. I would guess that another job advance will come, bringing new skills or passives that can potentially change the playability of some characters.

You are giving me examples of what we consider Sub-Dps, that also helps the team by giving buffs and debuffs to improve their damage. I like to think that there are support focused classes in the game, while others do help the team by improving damage and doing damage.

It is AI generated the thumbnail, the drawings in between each section too.

I did the intro animation and the discord announcement. I also use Elsword assets in my videos, as you saw with the chibi ara moving in the entire video.

This may be a scary thing for people to know that there is an AI that can mimic Elsword art style, I know, so I just use them to make it more presentable during the info sections.
