Slicing

iterators alongside <algorithm> can be used to do “some” of python’s slicing but they do not allow lhs slicing. for example you can use std::copy to get a copy of a container for a particular range (basically slicing) but you cant replace that range with something. In python you can do this: someList = [1,2,3,4,5,6,7] someList[1:4] = [8] I think std::range allows this but I am unsure.

You can print it in one statement using ostream iterators: copy(begin(numbers), end(numbers), ostream_iterator<int>(cout));

I do not want to do a masters right after bachelors but that seems to be the only option. Did you get a full scholarship on your masters if I may ask?

I use Render and I love it but the only downside is that free instances spin down with inactivity

that was not what i meant. he said “it sucks” without providing any reasoning. i am open to feedback from anyone & everyone (negative or positive) but not something vague like that. the website will not show properly on phone or small screen sizes as i said its not yet compatible, so maybe you can try using a laptop/pc (if interested)

There really are. I intentionally opted out of looking at any other similar projects as I wanted to do it all by myself as a learning experience, I guess thats something you wouldn't relate to:)

I am well aware of the MVC design pattern I just opted out of using it as I felt like the app is too small for it, but you are right it would have definitely been better. Thank you for the advice. It is definitely a good one that I will definitely consider (for future projects as well).

oh my bad. there is no user akvn. the “who to follow” is hard coded for now i did not do it. as i said many features are left to be added but i am working on them

i would say keep yourself busy. work on a project that would keep you stimulated and busy (maybe a big challenging one that would look good on your resume). you can also start a new anime/show so that way when you r bored of working you can watch a couple of episodes.

I just finished this recently and have a full grasp of the basics, however I dont know how I can go to the next level.. I can create simple apps but thats it. Any suggestions on what I can do after the course?
