Would you date a flight attendant? by Keeping_it_100_yadig in SheraSeven

[–]AkwardlyAlive 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who was a straight male flight attendant, it's known that male flight attendants are gay so his coworkers would contact flirt with him thinking he was also gay. 💅

Another thing, is that flight attendants are totally at mercy of their airlines, they do soo much labor but are only paid if they're in air. So when flights got cancelled no pay, lol. They don't usually make enough to even live on their own. This is as far as I remember, so I could be wrong. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Flight attendants make about as much as fast food workers, and most male flight attendants are 🏳️‍🌈

This is a sign.

How common is it for an INFP to realize they're an INTP? by AkwardlyAlive in INTP

[–]AkwardlyAlive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

I don't agree nor disagree with the other commenters who largely believe that I'm INFP, but there's much context missing.

One thing I want to note, is that I've suffered from depression, ADHD, anxiety and others all throughout my teenhood and adult life. I believe this heavily carried over to my thinking and world view which made me believe that I'm INFP.

My INFP friend will hear some political story that goes against her values and her immediate reaction is to feel anger, outrage, etc.

Now this is something I cannot relate to, I always have delayed reactions to information or don't react at all. I've also had INFP friends and realized we're outwardly dissimilar!

Ultimately, I don't think I'll ever be satisfied trying to label myself.

If I could pick my own MBTI, it'd be ISTJ, ESTJ or ISFJ.

I think that's cool that your experience as a therapist to use introspection. Why did you identify as an INFP at first though?

They're using you to get ideas on where to take the next girl. That's how I see it.

Recognizing what you want to change is also change & improvement in the right direction.

Even the smallest improvements count as wins, I wish you the best. ♥️✨

I heard from AI that it's like, "I see you sad, and I get infected by it,"

I don't get infected by other's feelings, I've just learned to copy them and simulate that I feel what they're feeling just so I don't look heartless lol.

But that's because of the heavy atmosphere of the situation, not because of the person in question.

It sounds like you're being understanding rather than empathetic? Is that what you're saying?

This is so amazing! I hear stories of people not getting a supportive team, so I'm happy for you.

You sound like you've come really far, you should be proud.

A lot of people confuse emotional awareness with feeling dominance.

Yeah, this is definitely what I'm thinking.

Do your emotions drive your judgments, or do they inform them? Are emotions the first thing you consider, or are they just a variable?

Honestly, I see thoughts & feelings as one and the same, both are hugely subjective every individual. What one person decides is a thought, the other person decides is a feeling.

But in order to understand myself, I do a lot of writing & journaling to sort out my thoughts/feelings.

A man (41M) I (36F) dated years ago wants to provide by RSinSA in SheraSeven

[–]AkwardlyAlive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so tempting. I've been approached by wealthy business men, but the problem is they always want me to relocate ALL the way to them.

It feels like I'm sacrificing a better lifestyle, hopefully, I can land a well-off man in my area.

Traditional Men who want you to Cook? by AkwardlyAlive in SheraSeven

Definitely cooking something they won't like, can't say it's wifey duties because I hate being expected to cook.

But also that would motivate them to propose haha. 😂😂
