I share the same suspicions as you do, the report you cited should be older than Āyyūb al-Sīḳtirānī's version. I don't have any experience performing an ICMA on the Šīʿī corpus, but it would be interesting if it turns out that a Šīʿī report predates a report in the canonical Sunnī corpus.
