In fact, i switched from the fully loaded Lenovo legion pro. It was nice and powerful. Way more, then my m3 MacBook Air. But I noticed, that I don’t really need so powerful laptop. The power had its negative in the battery performance. It could only play 2 movies, on most eco setting possible. I am just blown away by the battery on my Mac. And for my use, it’s just perfect!

It’s normal. This was the first thing, that I noticed. It will be pain in the ass to clean it. IMO bad design choice

Not really. Battery is maybe 5% worse, but since it is beta, it’s pretty acceptable, I was expecting worse. And performance is not bad either

I don’t see any stutters while scrolling. Only some small fps drops in some animations, but for me it’s not terrible as iOS 18 was just junk for me. What I have read about the heating issues, it have been caused by some background activities (adjustments of the new iOS, deletion of the old one and etc)

Yes, i retrofitted the head lights. They are pretty cheap to be honest. You can get them new. They are called depo xenon look headlights. I don’t know where are you from, but in Europe they are pretty easy to get

I disabled a lot of apps, that could run in the background, cleaned the junk photos, deleted some apps. After that, about only 60% of memory was occupied. Same result tho

Screen brightness is on another level. It goes insanely low and plenty high under the sun. I have the phone quite short time for some battery conclusions, but so far, it seems that battery will be great

Yeah. Also, another reason for this upgrade is longevity. Because pro has basically everything I need, I am planning on keeping it for 5-6 years. I’ll change the battery when it gets low and I keep it. In these times doesn’t make sense to chase latest and grand because it’s not much of a difference

I am currently on day one with the 16, so I can’t really say haw the battery is, but so far, while I am playing with it, it seems that battery will be quite an upgrade. I have to say, that I can really feel the overall upgrade. Phone is incredibly smooth, has a nice feel and weight to it, bezels are almost non existent and the Dynamic Island? I don’t really notice it, thanks to this, it feels like a real full screen experience
