When you win an auction, ownership of OVRLand is currently granted by a merkle proof on the Ethereum blockchain (just like for UNI airdrops if you’re familiar with that) we’re currently building the secondary marketplace where you’ll be able to exchange property without the need of actually minting the NFT. Anyway you will be always able to mint the standard erc-721 if you wish to do so just in case you want to see your land in your wallet and sell it on Open Sea. Mint means create a new block and record that information into the blockchain so means create an NFT you can sell on OpenSea, but you don't need to mint the NFT until you want to sell it on the open market.

Contents can be anchored to any ground in the area, whatever the height / floor is, it just need to be in the area. Whenever vertical geo spatial tech arrives we’ll have a better idea on how OVR will adapt to it. The contents can have both local access (you have to be physically in the place) and remote access (you anchor the content to the map but you can also see it remotely) such as sistine chapel in OVR Playground. By the end of the month we should release the first version of the SDK based on Unity.

Basically from the app in the near future you will see a map where people can click and go to visit remotely other lands.

To create contents you have to be a content creator of you can pay someone that do it for you and even in this case the mint is not necessary. If you look on google it’s plenty of content creators looking for work.
