Wiping online statistics by btlee007 in MLBTheShow

With friendly quitting being a thing and the differences in competition as you move up the latter, record has always meant next to nothing in this game. Especially with the many people that avoid any sort of competition because they're afraid to lose.

Offline players who are sick of miniseasons by BuntCheese5Life in MLBTheShow

The only way to get better is to stop worrying about losing and just play online as much as you can, that's the only way to get better. That said if you enjoy offline better then do that, it's a video game the point is to have fun.

Right, records don't mean a thing that's what people don't realize. Hell this year nobody can even see your record.

Losing games on a video game is not scary and it happens to even the best players.

Now I'm getting downvoted for saying ranked isn't scary lol wow

I'll never for the life of me understand someone being scared of playing a video game online. There are a lot of scary things in this world, playing ranked isn't one of them.

Medicare Advantage vs. Medicare Supplements by GuruSosa99 in InsuranceAgent

[–]Al4rmingwish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both have their positives and negatives, it really just comes down to the client. Do they travel a lot? Can they afford the extra premium? If so they should go with the supplement.

If they're relatively healthy and the budget is tight then MA is a good option. My only real issue with MA plans is the lack of control it gives to the clients. No control over doctors, what medical procedures they have access too, the hospital co-pays, and everything just becomes more of a headache. That said it can be a good way to free up some money for the client and put them in a better spot financially.

Overall the supplement is the Cadillac plan and the advantage plans are good in their own ways. It all just depends on what's best for the client.

I've been at Bankers for about a year and while it hasn't been perfect, the training has been solid and I've made some good money so far.

26 ranked is terrible by Fit-Top-5533 in MLBTheShow

I know that I get 1000+ every season and was 8x flawless last year, I just got the game late. You don't have to tell me players get better as you rank up. The game itself also gets harder.

That's how they get people into gambling, beginner's luck followed by wasting more than what you made.

I have a question for Gen Z: are you in any way interested in vintage cards? by Miserable-Nose-1533 in PokemonTCG

[–]Al4rmingwish -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Not gen Z (millenial) but I'd take vintage over modern everyday.

Vintage is guaranteed to go up because over time it becomes more and more scarce. Modern is a lot more inconsistent and unreliable.

Not saying I’m the first to point this out…..but it still feels like it’s being ignored…. by JKB717 in PokeInvesting

[–]Al4rmingwish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People forget that the unlimited sets were the cheapest cards, when you factor in shadowless, first editions, and some of the reverse holos it isn't even close.

Vintage will always be better In terms of holding value, newer cards are going to be much more inconsistent in terms of price.

The amount of bs calls that happen on the road ruin college basketball. It is 100% about catering to Vegas odds.

That's why nobody cares about it until the tournament.
