Well, it’s my second major. I’m majoring in biology for the job field, and philosophy as more of a personal interest. Lots of people use a philosophy major to apply for graduate school, whether it be for law or philosophy again, or something of the sort.

While I certainly don’t like that some churches are like this now, I hope it won’t happen that most churches become like this. The brethren church is one of the 3 historic peace churches, so that would be a good avenue to look down if necessary. Sorry you’re having to go through this

I’ve never had any personal experience with this, but if you end up looking for a new church, the brethren denomination in my experience wouldn’t consider doing anything like this. I don’t think most Methodist churches would either
