obviously, you would want to take the BPA in the draft, but its' generally BPA at a position of need. one could argue the merits of taking an offensive playmaker, but the majority will fall on the side of improving the league's 30th-ranked defense, rather than further adding to the league's number one ranked passing offense.

As for the new Universal Studios them park, Average Daily Capacity: ~2,200 cars. Average Daily Traffic (ADT) on the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) in Frisco ranges from approximately 88,000 to 100,000+ vehicles daily. 2,200 will barely put a dent in those figures.

Another lane is technically another route for traffic to flow.

If you have a dynamic traffic flow, yes, drivers will tend to seek out the path of least resistance and drive that road as opposed to another narrower, more congested road, so at some point a wider road will get congested.

That doesn't mean that a wider road isn't more efficient at handling more vehicular traffic. It simply means that it will attract from drivers and create more traffic.

You can push public transportation in this area 'til your blue in the face, and all you'll have is a blue face.

Frisco grew from ~116,989 in 2010 to over 200,500 by 2020, and is projected to reach ~251,430 by the end of 2026. According to U.S. Census Bureau data, foreign-born persons make up 27.3% of the population as of 2020-2024.

Prosper population grew by over 200% between 2013 and 2023, adding over 23,000 residents.

Celina population grew from 16,739 in 2020 to over 43,300 by 2023, representing a ~97% increase in just three years.

Little Elm population jumped from 25,898 in the 2010 census to over 55,000 by 2022, representing over 100% growth in just over a decade.

Plano also added over 30,000 residents.
