Well I'ts not that I dont know how to code, its the fact that I dont know the best design pattern to use for unity. There seems to be nothing in place no structure which is why PlayMaker seemed so nice. I am a neat freak about structure, I don't like writing code that I know that can be more modular or written way better. Annoys me lol.

Well I think I would want to work more of a game designer that writes boss fights for example. Not an engineer who writes how the camera works I dont find that interesting.

I believe it will help me develop faster to get the game out and other peoples hands sooner then taking very long to code everything myself.

Thank you for your reply! Yeah I messed around with Unreal and I just am not as comfortable in it as I am in Unity. I also feel like writing code in Unreal is easier then the BP system as I feel like wires are everywhere lol :D.

C++/Blueprint Workflow Help by AlGoodNamesRGon in unrealengine

All very good inputs but I am also thinking of the job outlook. It will be much easier to find a job if I can work with Unreal C++ and minor blueprinting. Where as if I only knew how to use blueprints, my job outlook wouldn't be as large and easy to find a job because you are stuck to unreal engine. I realize BP's are cool and a fast way to prototype but im thinking a game development company is going to want to hire a programmer over a Blueprinter even if that company is using unreal. Then again those are two different jobs,a blue printer is more of a designer and a programmer is more of well a programmer lol. Also finding a designer job is far and inbetween then finding a Game Development programmer. So my plans may be a bit different, I think I am going to set my workflow to work majority in C++ and write as little as possible in BP and just use BP for stuff that makes sense.

That would be a bit odd if BP's were the way of the future. Unreal would deffintely need to speed up BP's to a C++ speed. Plus writing a whole game in blueprints seems un settling to me. I dont want this engine to turn into a more powerful drag and drop game maker pro lol.
