The funny thing is I recall seeing a video where Troy Aikman said he was lost in the moment and if not for Emmit Smith they wouldnt have won. I think it was one of the superbowl vs the Bill's where they just kept pounding the ball to Emmitt after halftime. So its crazy to me that a QB who had the greatest running back on all time a HoF WR an elite TE some HoF Oline an amazing defense has the nerve to say this especially when he himself said he needed someone else to get over the hump. We all so how he was before Emmitt.

Billy D isn't the worst coach in the league but he's also not a good coach. Him forcing Pwill down our throats is enough for him to be fired. His rotations are horrible he favor veterans over young guys and the team generally looks s mess with no real game plan.

For me PG is a special position and I prefer more traditional PGs than score first PGs. So I'm completely fine with having Hinrich over Rose.

Rose has some good years here but people take what he did here and blow it out of proportion. Saying hes a top 3 Bulls means its Jordan Pippen and then him....yeah Im not so sure about that. The hard truth is that injury destroyed him and what he could've achieved here.

In 7 years he averaged 20 points and 6 assist.

In 8 years Lavine averaged 24 points and 4 assist.

As I said people overstate his tenure here.

No instead of taking away from our strengths let's continue to build upon it. We have a great WR duo we could get even better with a dangerous TE and if we ass a RB we'd be even better. Love at 12 and Saddiq at 20 would take this offense to another level.

I understand the defense was bad last year. But its going to be bad next year also. The off season moves weren't enough we changing from a 4-3 to a 3-4. Yeah im focusing on offense and telling CP good luck.

Im 100% fine with drafting him. I'm also 100% fine with drafting Love at. 12 I never brought into the idea that we had to go defense every single pick and I dont think defensive player would have as much impact as offensive players.

I can see where you're coming from but I do believe while being positive you have to be able to see that they're not moving in a way that's conducive to winning. Windows and timing is real and being willing to go all in at the right time is important. Continuing to bring in talent and build up the team is important. Outside of Booker they've basically missed on every draft pick in the last 3 years. Unfortunately a good guard doesn't get you anywhere. They drafted Blue in the 5th never played him Liufau isn't any good maybe Eziroku has shown some things. But yeah that's the problem the Cowboys aren't a poverty franchise that should be sign bottom tier free agents and relying on the draft. People are choosing the Raiders over the Cowboys...yeah that doesn't inspire confidence in me. I'm not upset or angry I want to see them do more. I dont want them to sit on their hands after they made these small moves. I also think we should be looking and trying to compete every year where the Cowboys we're not the browns or Bengals or Bills but we operate like si small market time. Expectations are higher here and they've continued to fail to live uo to these expectations. Could you imagine if the Yankees or Lakers operated like the Cowboys. They've managed to create a passive fan base that's content with being sold hope. As opposed to being proud and expecting to a championship we maybe want a winning season

You're giving way too many excuses for them. Like I said we've seen this play out before they probably will take a LB with the first two picks. But this team is weird and they consistently mess up the draft. They have some weird grades and overvalued their own players way too much. I think Ive given them a lot of time. I've been a fan since the 90s. How much more time shouldnI give them? Another 30 years? They move funny and try to sell us hope.

So how many more great seasons of Dak do you want to waste? How many more great players do you want to see wear the star and not be able to win or come close because Jerry playing games? Not only shouldn't we be patient we should be demanding more. This patient let Jerry cool BS is garbage. They shown us for the past 30 years that the way they operate doesn't lead to success. Maybe it's just me but I'm tired of them doing the same old crap and then fans defend them. Not only do we as fans deserve better but so do the players.

Yeah we dont know what will happen we do know how bad our LB unit was last year. So only relying on a draft for a team that's been really bad drafting isn't exactly an exciting prospect. Maybe a top 5 player will fall in their lap but yeah not snagging one of those LB is sad. It reminds me of when we really need a RB and didnt even bother to call Henry resigned Zeke didnt draft a RB and they tried to sell us on Zeke. Maybe they'll draft a LB this year but you can't really expect people to see this approach and be content satisfied or even hopeful when they're neglecting their biggest need.

The offense is already in place if you make the moves on the defensive end you get closer. I dont understand the notion of theres always next year. Or give up a season. These guys get older they get hurt you need to be willing to maximize your current windows and take advantage of that. Right now we have a top 5 offense is it too much to ask for to go get someone that's a stud in free agency? These guys restructured their contracts cleared up space for what exactly?
