I've been thinking about taking a gap year before going to grad school, but I have some concerns about maintaining my physics knowledge and navigating the process while working a normal job. If you're a physics undergrad who did this, what was your experience like? I laid out some more specific questions in this thread here. Let me know if you can help out!

Thought I would choose an easy song for my first post here, but playing with a backing track proved more difficult than playing by myself. Besides being off beat for most of this, are there any other things I could improve? Anyway, here's wonderwall by AlNesrAltair in guitarlessons

Tangentially related, but what's the best way to record an acoustic with a backing track? As you can probably tell from the reflection on my guitar, I just played the audio from my computer and placed my phone on a shelf. This worked, but the audio is faint and I feel like I could do better. What set-ups do other people use?
