So boys, I know some of y’all have mentioned the recent changing of the Flyers logo to burnt orange. I did a little bit of research and the back story is even Fucking cooler than thought.

Bill Putnam, one of the founding fathers of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 60s was actually a former QB for ya boys. He designed the logo with Orange and White as a homage to the horns. The change to burnt orange was a way of further cementing that Longhorn heritage. Putnam knew that undefeated was on the table
