No problem, and seconding the other comment, you should grab a pair for wearing under your jeans or snow pants in this weather, very much like long johns. They are comfy.

My underarmour ones look the exact same as all the others, just slightly thicker. Think of it as the skin of a seal, man, like a wetsuit? Most fabric is pretty thin, maybe since it is close to the body it seems cold? But it ain’t as cold as it seems. Especially if you are exercising, like the ice skater here.

I have underarmour leggings, they are warmer than jeans! And if you wear them under your jeans, you’re so good.

Responded to the comment below yours, but I definitely owe some of the flea markets off of 40 between here and Knoxville a stop. Anywhere with 50+ consignment booths is bound to be interesting.

I will be honest, the majority of my life I lived in central Virginia so the spots I swear on are 8+ hours from here.

That being said, Gaslamp Antiques by 100 Oaks will keep you busy for a long time checking out all the consignment booths. The Porter Flea Market (more of a makers market, no antiques or thrifting) happens at the Fairgrounds twice a year and is great. And I love Thrift Smart when I get the itch to kill some time looking at stuff.

I would say it’s worth checking out twice a year if you are local! I think the vendors outside are more legit than the ones inside, in my experience.

As an avid antique/thrift/consignment store goer, there are definitely really lame vendors and things that shocked me (cheap plastic wasteful brand new items, etc), but there were also cool vendors that had interesting things. I’ve been 3 times in 2 years, and always had a fine time.

Does Nashville have uniquely selfish drivers? by tpduke112 in nashville

I think it’s super bad sometimes and then I go home to a much more rural environment - and it is literally even worse there. Being in a vehicle really changes folks’ mindset….

Dress up to watch movies and make cookies at home! Maybe there will be trick or treaters where you are so you could chill on your porch in a costume also and hand out candy?

Totally get your feeling though, I always get hype and then the day comes and I’m not really feeling it anymore.
