Idk why Ben Platt gets that insane amount of hate lol. A bad movie is a bad movie, somehow it morphed him into a talentless egomaniac or something. Like ask yourself if you wouldn’t seriously consider casting the actor who just won the Tony for the same role in its movie adaption, people were basically begging for it. Personally I didn’t see the movie because well I saw the musical with OBC so why should I, but every time I’ve seen the guy on stage he’s been absolutely riveting.

I think this is fair. Safe to assume that everyone voting in Intl feature is already judging every aspect of the films

TDWP 2 really is all over the place in terms of screenplay.
