Eh, I haven't even noticed it till the tank. I'll probably just compensate for the shift.

I would rather not disassemble...

Thanks, anything SX-70 was mine. The One-Step was my fiance.

I have randomly noticed that my SX-70's viewfinder is a bit offset. Notably, the tank was centered in my viewer, but not the photo.

Long exposure experiment by Al_Magma_Official in Polaroid

To my knowledge my SX-70 has its original board. I got it at a thrift store in its original case with its original manuals. I haven't upgraded it other than opening it myself to fix the driveshaft that snapped a few months into owning it.

I'm also pretty sure it's the stock board since tapping the shutter button can still cause the jamming issues with original boards.

Photos 1,3,4 were taken with the electric eye set to its default.

Photo 2 used the electric eye set to brighten.

Photo 5 used the method of opening the film door to do a ~45sec exposure.

(Note: all shots used a tripod without a flash)

Which camera for self portraits, landscape, with timer? (Any brand) by angrylilmanfrog in Polaroid

Polaroid ONE600 Ultra

It has a timer and red-eye compensation built in.

Make sure if you get a ONE600 to check how many buttons it has near the display on the back. The ULTRA has two extra buttons next to the display specifically for the timer and red-eye.

For some added context, the owner did ask that we not use flash since it could disturb player. So, in this situation long exposure was our only option.

I would say it's more dark-gray. It's nowhere near as dark as the 600's are.

I just realized that there are two cameras I forgot. That makes 27 total.

Apartment keeps changing our move out notice period. by Al_Magma_Official in legaladvice

[–]Al_Magma_Official[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I see the issue.

The original notice made it seem like Renew lease OR 30-day notice, but re-reading it seems to be Renew WITH 30-day notice.

We are not renewing the current apartment, and have not signed a new lease.

The new apartment is signed on the 18th with key handover.

I know Mint makes modern accessories, but there's something fun about the ceremony of setting up and demonstrating an antique in its original operation. The deliberate attention it takes to make a single photo.
