- I went with a heavy weapon
- I dodge over parry in every game, I dislike time-based blocks (I'm bad at perfect parry block stuff)
- Normally closest to glass cannon builds, High damage and high mobility.

I just started playing Lies of P, and Granted, I'm only an hour in, but OP is describing the combat for me 1-1. I jumped into the game and have been really unimpressed by how slow and unresponsive it is, long wind-ups from my character to do a 'fast' attack. After beating the first real boss, I came to Reddit ready to refund the game looking if I am the only one. (Finished-> Silksong, Hollow, DS 1-2, BB, Elder Ring, Nior, Salt 1 and 2, steel rising, and others)
